Time is short! True Bible understanding is in short supply! This is remarkable, considering that the Bible is readily available and the United States has a high literacy rate!
I cannot stress it enough–read your Bible!! Don’t leave it to someone else to interpret it for you! If you are truly a Christian, the Holy Spirit will teach you as you read the Bible! You are in much more danger of being deceived if you take other people’s interpretations of it, than if you read the Bible yourself and pray!
Many people sacrificed or died to make sure that God’s Word was made available to the common man. The Dark Ages were ‘dark’ because the Catholic Church taught that only priests could understand God’s word. The people did not have Bibles! Today Bibles are everywhere, yet virtually no one reads them–how ironic!!

The enemy will always find ways to distract you from reading your bible. That should tell you something. There is power in God’s word. In restricted nations, you could face death for having just one page of the bible! One page! Why does Satan feel threatened by someone having God’s word? Because there is power and the light of God’s truth in every word. To stay strong in these ending times, you MUST read God’s word!
Not reading your Bible is like building a house without a level. If you build a house by just guessing that it looks straight, you’ll end up with a very crooked house!
I’ve been in houses like that. The more complex they are, the more absurd they look–and the more dangerous they are to their inhabitants!
The bible will always be challenged and fought by the devils and his angels, but lets not forget that the light will always prevail over darkness anytime anyday.
