Of course it is absurd, and far too juvenile to be the deliberate intention of a United States president . . . to time the announcement of Osama bin Laden’s death to interrupt the TV show of his political opponent.

But, it just might be in character for a narcissist* who has just been ‘one-upped’  (think: having to begin to defend oneself from the accusations of a bulldog-like foe).

Obama makes a big game of irritating others . . . could this be an indication that Trump has ‘gotten under his skin’ and he doesn’t like how it feels, much less know how to handle it?  Hmmmm.

Personally, I don’t care much for Donald Trump . . . but if he can irritate Obama to this degree–this could be fun to watch!!

*  Several of the aspects of narcissism:

Arrogance – A narcissist who is feeling deflated may reinflate by diminishing, debasing, or degrading somebody else.

Envy – A narcissist may secure a sense of superiority in the face of another person’s ability by using contempt to minimize the other person.

Entitlement – Narcissists hold unreasonable expectations of particularly favorable treatment and automatic compliance because they consider themselves uniquely special. Any failure to comply will be considered an attack on their superiority and the perpetrator is considered to be an “awkward” or “difficult” person. Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic rage.
