As I mentioned in my last post, I was recently made aware of a possible ‘code’ or key to understanding Bible prophecy.  I purchased the book, and read a few chapters, then I switched gears and listened to some audio messages by David Meyer (Last Trumpet Newsletter).   Little did I know that I would soon be using the ‘Prophecy Code’ myself.

If I have understood correctly, from what I have read (and seen) so far:

  • the basic principle is that some words in the original Bible manuscripts, or early translations, sound like words that are relevant to us today (of course these words did not have the same meaning in the original language as the words they sound like now)
  • God inspired the use of these particular words, in the particular passages where He place them then, because He knew that they would be relevant to us in the latter days
  • These ‘key’ words serve to link prophetic passages, written in different times and by different authors, to each other
  • The ‘key words’ serve to establish a connection between other words (example: if  a ‘key word’ is in the same passage of Scripture as ‘word A’, and in another passage the ‘key’ is present with ‘word B’, then it can be assumed that ‘word A’ and ‘word B’  are to be associated with each other too.)
  • The ‘key word’ is directly associated with the passage where it is found

(This is a very simplistic definition for something which appears to have great depth, and is difficult to explain.)  Let me take you through my first experience in using the Prophecy Code.

In the first couple chapters of the book, one of the things Jeff explains about is Satan’s sin of attempting to ascend.  ‘Ascend’, in the 14th chapter of Isaiah, is translated as ‘alah’.  He maintains that ‘alah’ is the judgment that God metes out for the sin of ascension.  ‘Alah’ is the ‘key word’ in the passage, and he believes it is synonymous with ‘Allah’. (Allah is a word that is definitely relevant to us today.)

That evening, after reading a few chapters from the book, I had switched gears and listened to some sermons by David Meyer.  Coincidentally (?), David mentioned a scripture verse that stood out to him (the verse about Christ’s return that says: as lightning flashes from the east to the west . . .).  He went on to say that generally lightning comes from the west and goes to the east.  That may or may not be true, but I believe what is relevant is that something about the verse made it stand out to him.  Apparently he had looked into the verse a little further, because he then shared that ‘lightning’ was translated as baraq/barak and talked about how Barack Obama had come from the east to the west, etc.

This aroused my curiosity.  I was able to verify the translation.  Then I looked for other passages that contained this possible ‘key word’ (there are at least a half dozen passages that do).  The process is rather time intensive, so I have only been able to complete one passage so far.  Here is, more or less, the way I studied it:

  1. I read the chapter that contained the ‘key word’ and determined what was the probable beginning and end of the passage
  2. I became familiar with the passage, so as to understand it
  3. I noted any other passages or prophecies that I believed tie in with, or parallel the passage that I studied
  4. I looked for word translations of any other words or verses, within the passage, that stood out (to me)
  5. I marked the probable ‘key words’
  6. I looked for any relevance of the ‘key words’ to the verses where they were found
  7. I looked for the relevance of the ‘key words’ to the passage
  8. I noted ‘key words’, topics, etc. that are now ‘associated’

Although I only had time to look at one passage in depth, I did notice that another verse on the list was from a passage in Nahum that I have written posts about*–one that I believe God has revealed to me is an end time prophecy of America’s judgment. I find it very interesting that, unbeknownst to me, ‘baraq’ was hidden in that passage of Scripture too.

Lightning is not the only word that ‘baraq’ has been translated to.  It is also translated into other words that convey the idea of brightness (gleaming,  glittering, glistening, etc.)

Here is the passage:

Job 20: 4-29

4.   “Surely you know how it has been from of old, ever since man was placed on the earth,
5.   that the mirth of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment.
6.   Though his pride reaches to the heavens and his head touches the clouds,
7.   he will perish forever, like his own dung; those who have seen him will say, “Where is he?”
8.   Like a dream he flies away, no more to be found, banished like a vision of the night.
9.   The eye that saw him will not see him again; his place will look on him no more.
10.   His children must make amends to the poor; his own hands must give back his wealth.
11.   The youthful vigor that fills his bones will lie with him in the dust.
12.   “Though evil is sweet in his mouth and he hides it under his tongue,
13.   though he cannot bear to let it go and keeps it in his mouth,
14.   yet his food will turn sour in his stomach; it will become the venom of serpents within him.
15.   He will spit out the riches he swallowed; God will make his stomach vomit them up.
16.   He will suck the poison of serpents; the fangs of an adder will kill him.
17.   He will not enjoy the streams, the rivers flowing with honey and cream.
18.   What he toiled for he must give back uneaten; he will not enjoy the profit from his trading.
19.   For he has oppressed the poor and left them destitute; he has seized houses he did not build.
20.   “Surely he will have no respite from his craving; he cannot save himself by his treasure.
21.   Nothing is left for him to devour; his prosperity will not endure.
22.   In the midst of his plenty, distress will overtake him; the full force of misery will come upon him.
23.   When he has filled his belly, God will vent his burning anger against him and rain down his blows upon him.
24.   Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow pierces him.
25.   He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him;
26.   total darkness lies in wait for his treasures. A fire unfanned will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.
27.   The heavens will expose his guilt; the earth will rise up against him.
28.   A flood will carry off his house, washed away on the day of God’s wrath.
29.   Such is the fate God allots the wicked, the heritage appointed for them by God.”

On the surface, though there doesn’t appear to be much here, I did find several things:

VERSE 6:  “Though his pride reaches to the heavens and his head touches the clouds”

‘reaches to’  = ‘ alah’
as does ‘ascend’ in Isaiah 14:13-14

“You said in your heart, “I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. [or: of the north]
I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.”

(This is the famous passage that describes the fall of Lucifer!  Also, in the Prophecy Code book, Jeff goes into detail about the ‘alah’ judgment.)

VERSE 8: “Like a dream he flies away, no more to be found, banished like a vision of the night.”

This verse reminded me of  a passage in Nahum chapter 3, so I looked it up and found that there were words common to both:
‘flies away’ = ‘fly away’ in Nahum 3:16

“You have increased the number of your merchants till they are more than the stars of the sky, but like locusts they strip the land and then fly away

‘banished’  =  ‘fly away’ in Nahum 3:17

“Your guards are like locusts, your officials like swarms of locusts that settle in the walls on a cold day—but when the sun appears they fly away, and no one knows where.”

‘banished’  =  ‘flee away’ in Nahum 3:7

Nahum 3:7  “All who see you will flee from you and say, ‘Nineveh is in ruins—who will mourn for her?’ Where can I find anyone to comfort you?”

Interestingly, there are 3 words, that I noticed, that are present in this passage from Job, and in Nahum 3:

  1. baraq
  2. the word that translates to flies away/fly away
  3. the word that translates to banished/fly away/flee away

VERSES 24-25:  “Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow pierces him.  He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him”

‘gleaming’ = ‘baraq’

(update: ‘flees’ here translates to ‘barach’!!)

My conclusion is that the ‘key words’ in this passage are ‘alah’ and ‘baraq’ , representing the names Allah and Barack, which are certainly relevant to us in these ‘latter days’.

Interpreting  the verse that contains ‘alah’:

The evil, prideful man will be destroyed. The pride represented by the mindset of ‘ascending’ brings judgment ‘alah’ from God.  This is also spelled out literally in the passage.

But here’s a twist . . .

Interpreting the verses that contain ‘baraq’:

Baraq/Barack describes the point of the arrow (of judgment, from God) that pierces the back of the wicked (the elite).   Barack is not the object of God’s judgment in this passage, but rather is the means of God’s judgment!

Interpreting the meaning of the  ‘key words’ in the entire passage:

This is a prophecy of judgment upon the (American) elite.  They will receive the  ‘Alah judgment’ for their pride of ascending, to be as gods.  They will vanish, as a nightmare.  Barack will be the means of judgment that God uses.

It is interesting that Barack came up from ‘within the ranks’ of the elite, but will be their undoing.  He will betray them.**  How apt that the verse describes him as an arrow, that will stab in the back  those whom God is judging!

This passage in Job is also ‘linked’ (as we have seen in the examples above) to the prophecy in Nahum–God’s judgment on America.  The revelation God gave me, regarding Obama’s eventual betrayal of the American people***, was what motivated me to begin blogging.

America, the nation (just like its ‘elite’ leaders) has become proud and arrogant, wicked and deceitful.  Our sins have piled up to the heavens.  Obama will also be God’s ‘hand of judgment’ upon the American people, for our ‘national sins’.

The American Paradigm Is About To Be Shattered!

God Damn America?

Islamic America?

Islamic America?

Christian America
Christian America

OR

Every American Christian, when we have followed our own selfish desires, rather than being obedient to God, have weakened Christianity in America.
How many of us have looked beyond ourselves, to consider the impact our sin or apathy might have on our community or nation?  Since it seems that many Christians don’t even give thought as to how their sin might impact their own family or church, I doubt many have considered it.

The actions of any one individual  may have very little impact upon our nation, but collectively what we Christians do is of paramount importance!

God gave us a nation where we could live and prosper and be free–and where we could have a major influence in the world.  (Although we definitely made a wrong turn somewhere along the way, in regards to foreign policy.)  God established America as a Christian nation, and we have been privileged to live here.  Not worthy . . . not entitled . . . but rather, the recipients of a gift.

But, through the years, as our prosperity increased, Americans became more and more self-centered.  Even Christians abandoned values such as thrift, honesty, purity, holiness and justice.  We sought after more fun, more passion, more happiness, more knowledge, more fame, more success, and more money to buy more things.  We looked for ways to market and promote ourselves, and our pride and arrogance grew.

Meanwhile, our spirits shriveled from lack of nourishment and neglect.  Our spiritual lives dropped lower and lower on our list of priorities.  Our family bonds became thin and frayed.  And our churches became spiritual hospices, full of people whose spiritual senses were dull and dying, where they spent a few months or years before slipping back into sin and eventually passing away through the doors for the last time.

This created a spiritual vacuum in our country, and Islam is moving in to fill the void.  Islam is not just another religion to be tolerated.  Islam is a form of government disguised as a religion.  It has a complete system of law that will move in to replace the Mosaic law (Judeo-Christian law based on the Ten Commandments that God gave to mankind through Moses) upon which our system of  justice was built.  Islam is spread through deception and violence.  Its goal is worldwide domination.

Islam has spread to America.  It has taken root in our prisons among the violent and discontent.  In the past year and a half it has made bold steps in advancing its agenda and has received much help at the highest levels of our government.  Our president, if not a Muslim (which I am fairly certain he is), is at least a strong sympathizer and accessory to its spread.

If this does not worry you, you probably don’t know much about the doctrines and practices of Islam.  I urge you to learn more.  “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam” is a very good place to begin.  So are these documentaries:

Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against The West

Warning To America

As we continue to neglect and reject God’s ways, we are leaving the door open to Islam.  No amount of fighting, boycotts, or legislation will protect us from its goal to dominate America.  The only thing that will prevent America from becoming an Islamic nation is for Christians to really BE Christians.  As long as we Christians fail to be pure and sanctified temples in whom God’s Spirit can dwell,  the result will be a country that is  dominated by any and every foul spirit that decides to make America its home.

Many of you have recently heard the verse that says:

” If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  2 Chronicles 7:14

It’s obviously very timely.

I’d like to make a few points:

1.  It is clear that God is not calling on the whole country to repent–although that certainly is desirable–rather, He is calling on those who call themselves Jewish, Israelites, or Christians to repent.

2.  We must humble ourselves. Remember, this is written of us:

“You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.”  Revelation 3:17

3.  We must pray, but more than that, we must seek God’s face.  We must not just ‘throw up a prayer’, but have an earnest face to face conversation with Him, so to speak.

4.  We must turn from our wicked ways. If we’re not sure what wickedness we’re involved in–by the time we’ve humbled ourselves and are sitting down for a face to face conversation with God, we’ll know.  But we must not confuse confession with repentance.  God is not calling for us to confess, then go on with our lives.  He is calling for us to repentto change the way we live–forever!

I’m not going to give my suggestions here for what that means.  I do know that most of us live in harmony with/tolerantly with our culture, in many ways.  And I know that our culture is  . . . vile, crass, unholy . . .   Many of us have become so accustomed to it that the changes God might like us to make in our lifestyles may seem too farfetched, too out of sync with the world around us, or too fanatical, and we may be tempted to dismiss them.  I plead with you not to!  Our nation is at a very critical crossroads–perilous times are ahead!

Please get serious about living for God.  Please–do it for yourself . . . for your family. . .  for your church . . .  for your community.   Please . . . do it for America!!

Since we have a president who is hell-bent on imposing his agenda on the American people, against the will of more than half of them, I think it is important to get a better understanding of the man.  Hopefully, knowing what ‘makes him tick’ will counter some of the shock and discouragement we face, as he continues to battle conservative Americans.

Although I am not trained in psychology or psychiatry, I am giving my opinion:

I am fully convinced that Barack Obama is a narcissist.

Hotchkiss [Hotchkiss, Sandy & Masterson, James F. Why Is It Always About You? : The Seven Deadly Sins of Narcissism (2003)]  identified what she called the seven deadly sins of narcissism:

  1. Shamelessness – Shame is the feeling that lurks beneath all unhealthy narcissism, and the inability to process shame in healthy ways.
  2. Magical thinking – Narcissists see themselves as perfect using distortion and illusion known as magical thinking. They also use projection to dump shame onto others.
  3. Arrogance – A narcissist who is feeling deflated may reinflate by diminishing, debasing, or degrading somebody else.
  4. Envy – A narcissist may secure a sense of superiority in the face of another person’s ability by using contempt to minimize the other person.
  5. Entitlement – Narcissists hold unreasonable expectations of particularly favorable treatment and automatic compliance because they consider themselves uniquely special. Any failure to comply will be considered an attack on their superiority and the perpetrator is considered to be an “awkward” or “difficult” person. Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic rage.
  6. Exploitation – can take many forms but always involves the using of others without regards for their feelings or interests. Often the other is in a subservient position where resistance would be difficult or even impossible. Sometimes the subservience is not so much real as assumed.
  7. Bad Boundaries – narcissists do not recognize that they have boundaries and that others are separate and are not extensions of themselves. Others either exist to meet their needs or may as well not exist at all. Those who provide narcissistic supply to the narcissist will be treated as if they are part of the narcissist and be expected to live up to those expectations. In the mind of a narcissist, there is no boundary between self and other.

(from Wikipedia: ‘Narcissism’)

“Narcissism can be a considered a self-perceived form of perfectionism. Narcissists often are pseudo-perfectionists and require being the center of attention and create situations where they will receive attention.[6] This attempt at being perfect is cohesive with the grandiose self-image that the narcissist has of him-/herself. If a perceived state of perfection isn’t reached it can lead to guilt, shame, anger or anxiety because he/she believes that he/she will lose the imagined love and admiration from other people if he/she isn’t perfect.[7]”

(from Wikipedia: ‘Narcissistic Rage’)

I don’t think one has to look too deeply at Obama’s childhood to find possible reasons for a boy to feel intense shame: Biracial, absent father, dark skinned but raised by whites, etc..   I think a well-meaning person, who dearly loved this little boy, may have attempted to counter his shame by unwittingly training him to think as a narcissist thinks: overcompensating on building his self-esteem, and actively putting the blame on others.

But he is not alone.  He is just a forerunner of a generation of children with similar stories, raised in a similar way:  Absent fathers, self-absorbed or over-compensating mothers, educational philosophies that overcompensated in building kids’ self-esteem, etc.  Consequently, we have raised a generation  that will prove to have an inordinate number of narcissists and sociopaths, and with most of them having a profound sense of entitlement and an over-inflated sense of their own importance (think ‘divas’ and ‘goddesses’).   Being the forerunner of this generation, it is no wonder that Obama’s message resonated with them.

(Any anger you sense from me is directed towards those who deprived these kids of truth and the ability for honest self-examination.)

Anyhow . . . although I think all of the traits are there, ‘arrogance’ stands out (there was a lot of diminishing, debasing, and degrading of the opposition by Obama, during the healthcare bill fiasco, as his approval numbers kept dropping), as does ‘exploitation’ (as he seems oblivious to the feelings and interests of a large majority of Americans, who oppose the healthcare bill).

But most of all, ‘entitlement’ seems to take center stage:

“Narcissists hold unreasonable expectations of particularly favorable treatment and automatic compliance because they consider themselves uniquely special. Any failure to comply will be considered an attack on their superiority and the perpetrator is considered to be an “awkward” or “difficult” person. Defiance of their will is a narcissistic injury that can trigger narcissistic rage.”

Within minutes of passing the bill, lawsuits were filed to challenge it’s constitutionality.  Then, yesterday, a supreme court justice decided it would be a good time to retire.  Here is my conjecture:

  • I think Obama ‘had a little talk’ with the justice, convincing him that now would be a good time to go.
  • I think whoever Obama appoints is going to be intended as a punishment to his opponents.
  • And, although he looks unfazed, Obama is seething on the inside.

Filing a challenge to his healthcare bill displays defiance, rather than compliance, which he sees as an attack on his authority and superiority, and it may very well trigger narcissistic rage.  (I was pretty confident we’d be seeing it sooner or later–and I think there is a rough road ahead for conservatives, because I expect him to escalate his battle.)  I am curious as to whether his rage will be open and evident, or passive-aggressive.

Apparently there are different types of narcissism, I believe this one fits him very well:

Aggressive narcissism

  • Glibness/superficial charm
  • Grandiose sense of self-worth
  • Pathological lying
  • Cunning/manipulative
  • Lack of remorse or guilt
  • Shallow affect
  • Callous/lack of empathy
  • Failure to accept responsibility for own actions.

(from Wikipedia: ‘Narcissism’)

Here is an explanation of ‘narcissistic rage’:

According to Kohut,[1] rages are a result of the shame at being faced with failure. Narcissistic rage is the uncontrollable and unexpected anger that results from a narcissistic injury. Narcissistic injury is a threat to a narcissist’s self-esteem or worth. Rage comes in many forms, but all pertain to the same important thing, revenge.

Narcissistic rages are based on fear and will endure even after the threat is gone.[5] To the narcissist, the rage is directed towards the person that they feel has slighted them; to other people, the rage is incoherent and unjust. This rage impairs their cognition, therefore impairing their judgment. During the rage they are prone to shouting, fact distortion and making groundless accusations. It is believed that narcissists have two layers of rage. The first layer of rage can be thought of as a constant anger (towards someone else), and the second layer being a self-aimed wrath. Two specific identified forms of narcissistic rage are explosive and passive-aggressive.

The explosive form being an obvious anger, for example, damaging property (or people) and being verbally abusive. The passive-aggressive sort might be sulking or giving their target the silent treatment. They can become enraged to the point of being homicidal especially if he/she has the need to seek revenge.[6] Narcissistic rage is usually short-term, but can provoke problems with those towards whom the anger is targeted.

(from Wikipedia: ‘Narcissistic Rage’)

We are all flawed.  It would be unreasonable to expect our leaders to be perfect.  But some flaws demand that we be especially watchful and vigilant.  If Obama is who I think he is, he could become a very dangerous man if he doesn’t get his way.  The next time we win a battle with him, consider that, and don’t cheer quite so loudly.

Update 7/12/10

another interesting post about ‘People of the Lie’

America-Hijacked!!

I like a bumper sticker I recently saw:

“Yes you did . . . elect a Marxist dictator!”

If you haven’t woken up yet, I hope you will soon. America has been hijacked by a bunch of radical Marxists. Obama’s little collection of czars seems to include holders of every kind of wacky philosophy I’ve ever heard of-and more!

And no, I wasn’t all that happy with Bush! However, with him it was just more of the same government intrusion we’d gotten used to through the years. Obama was something else-I’ll give him that! All of a sudden, many of us jolted awake from our uneasy slumber! A line had been crossed, the camel’s back had broken-however you want to describe it. But suddenly it was all too much and happening way too fast!!

And so we’ve been scrambling to find out what we are up against (those of us who are tired of having our constitutional rights trampled on), and we’ve been learning an awful lot of ugly truths.

For me, the way this all has unfolded, and the string of ‘bad choices’ that have been made, seems to be far more than stupidity, ineptness, or inexperience. (I had the same feeling during the Clinton years, that something else was going on. It seemed to me the Clintons had their eye on a bigger prize than the presidency.) This administration, in less than a year, has wiped away any doubts I may have had about some kind of conspiracy to take down our government.

Our country is systematically being disarmed, impoverished, and dismantled. I believe this is all being orchestrated, for the purpose of initiating a world government.

Many people now believe that there are a group of elite bankers and wealthy men that are behind this. They talk about the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderbergers, etc. And there are theories involving the Illuminati, the Freemasons, etc. It is fascinating reading for the curious, but it can absorb much time and accomplish little. I’ll throw my idea in as well-these groups are not necessarily working together, but may be in competition with the same goal in mind.

And now, a new development. I believe Obama was chosen by this elite group, who reportedly controls who will be elected, to be the last ‘democratically elected’ president. And he is hard at work building a new government that will emerge from the ruins of the old one, because the plan is to destroy the old one by some catastrophic crisis or crises, real or contrived, in the very near future. (Ever stop to think about how easily he has been appointing czars as compared to the less than stellar progress he has made in filling legitimate positions in his administration?) And so, the puppet makes his masters proud. But I foresee a twist to this story.

Obama, or the people who have helped him navigate his way, seem to be fairly astute in figuring out how the game is played. He aligns himself with people that share his views, yet at the same time, he is able to convince the elites, who may not share all of the same radical views, that they can work together for a ‘win-win’ situation. I think they underestimated him. For whatever reason, and race probably being part of it, they picked him as the man to represent the system they have been devising, and to sell it to the world. But I believe they are going to find themselves ensnared in the trap they have set.

I believe his agenda runs deeper than they suspected, though they may now be starting to catch on. I sense in him, and his wife, a particular arrogance, and a seething contempt for rich, white, elitists. They are the pig he rode to power, but that pig has just been invited to dinner!
