After having read the Word, BUT without having had time to pray about it and let it ‘simmer’ . . . here are my initial thoughts about the army described in Joel 2:

I believe that the opening of the sixth seal (Rev. 6:12-17) and the sixth trumpet (Rev. 9:14-21) are simultaneous.  It looks like Joel 2 is another perspective on the same event (and, unexpectedly, Ezekiel 38 & 39).

THE SIXTH TRUMPET: ‘SUPER SOLDIERS’ UNLEASHED?

If this is true, it may be the unleashing of what some call ‘super soldiers’ by the Antichrist’s (Daniel’s fourth beast’s) army.

Joel 2:2

“a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, [even] to the years of many generations.”

and

Joel 2:7-8

“They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and [when] they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.”

THEIR SMOKE DARKENS THE SUN, MOON, AND STARS

Notice Joel 2:10

“The earth shall quake before them*; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:”

*I interpret these things to happen AS A RESULT of them.

And Revelation 9:18

“By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.”

Again, I believe that the fire and smoke is what darkens the sun, moon and stars.

Again, Joel 2:31 says

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”

Matthew 24:29

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:”

I believe Revelation 6:12-17 picks up where Revelation 9:19 and Joel 2:10 leave off–because, after Joel 2:10 comes The Day of The Lord.

Rev. 6:12-17″I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

In other words, I think THE CHRONOLOGY is this (you may want to read through it with your Bible, since I have not pasted all the verses here):

  • Revelation 9:14-19
  • Joel 2:2-10
  • Matthew 24:29, Mark 13:24-25
  • Revelation 6:12-17
  • Joel 2:11
  • (It looks like this also correlates with Ezekiel 38:1-17)

Then, the  story continues (as explained below):

  • Joel 2:12-17
  • Joel 2:18, Ezekiel 38:18-23, Revelation 16:17-21
  • Ezekiel 39:1-10
  • Joel 2:20
  • Ezekiel 39:11

also

  • Revelation 10:7, Matthew 24:27-31, Mark 13:26-27
  • Revelation 19:11-19

GOD’S PEOPLE REPENT

After this great army invades, the prophet Joel commands the people to repent and cry out to God (Joel 2:12-17)

______________________________________________________________________________

THE LORD WILL ARISE ON BEHALF OF HIS PEOPLE (THE DAY OF THE LORD)

“Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.”  (Joel 2:18)

DAY OF THE LORD PART 1: THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS PEOPLE

At the Lord’s return, He gathers His people to Him, before pouring out His wrath.

Revelation 10:7

“But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

Matthew 24:30-31

“And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

Mark 13:26-27 “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”

DAY OF THE LORD PART 2: HE POURS OUT HIS WRATH UPON THE NATIONS = THE GREAT SUPPER OF GOD

Matthew 24:27-28

“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.”

Revelation 19:11-19

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”  He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great. Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.”

Remember who is gathered, hiding from the face of God in Rev. 6:15,

” . . . the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man . . . ”

Joel 2:11

“And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?”

And, this may correlate with Ezekiel 38:18-23

“And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall come up in my face For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.”

It certainly seems that Joel 2:20

“But I will remove far off from you the northern [army], and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.”

and Ezekiel 39:11 are talking about the same thing:

“And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will give unto Gog a place there of graves in Israel, the valley of the passengers on the east of the sea: and it shall stop the [noses] of the passengers: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call [it] The valley of Hamongog.”

IT IS DONE!

Ezekiel 39:8

“Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord GOD; this [is] the day whereof I have spoken.” Revelation 16:17-21

“The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!” Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. Every island fled away and the mountains could not be found. From the sky huge hailstones of about a hundred pounds each fell upon men. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.”

(This passage also seems to correlate with Ezekiel 38:18-23.)    _____________________________________________________________________________

If this interpretation is correct, then it seems that the seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls must all happen simultaneously.Revelation 16:12-14  (& 16), the sixth BOWL, also seems to happen simultaneously with all of what is outlined above (the sixth SEAL and sixth TRUMPET):

“The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Then I saw three evil  spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.”(“Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.”)

And, indeed, the next verse (Rev. 16:15) corresponds with the same outline of events:

“Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

Also, as we have seen above, the seventh BOWL (Rev. 16:17-21) is the wrath of God, that seems to correlate with Ezekiel 38:18-23 where the Lord returns to battle the armies of the world.  This also seems to correlate pretty well with the seventh TRUMPET in Revelation 11:15:

“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.”

First, let me say that, although I have come back to my previous conclusions, I did go on a journey several days ago, with regards to my beliefs about ‘The Rapture’ and its timing. There is a video going around (Heaven Awaits 2011) that will probably ‘go viral’–among Christians at least. It contains some amazing information relating to Bible prophecies, signs in the heavens, current events, and Jewish feasts. It definitely states that there will be a preTribulation Rapture . . . and that its coming could be imminent.

I too am weary of this sin filled world. I would love to be able to have my heart lifted up with joy in the belief that Jesus could be coming to get me in just a couple of months. This is the attitude with which I watched the video. I truly wanted to believe it was right. However, a couple of things I heard seemed to conflict with what I already knew, so I went to the Scriptures to see.

After all consideration, I believe the video DOES put forth a very compelling argument . . . for the beginning of The Tribulation possibly being around September 29th of 2011 . . . but unfortunately, not for a Rapture to occur at, or before, that time. I too, am disappointed, after allowing myself that brief time of hope in ‘what if’.

As I said, I’ve come back around to my belief that ‘the gathering together of the saints’ occurs when the Lord returns–just before the 7th trumpet (Revelation 10:7 ) . . . which is the ‘last trumpet of God ‘–not of men (I Corinthians 15:52).

I had previously written about this on my blog, so in part, I will cut and paste from that article. I will also share fresh revelations on the subject, from the last few days.

“But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.” (Revelation 10:7)

Here is the mystery that God revealed to his prophets:

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’ [Isaiah 25:8]

‘Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting? ‘” [Hosea 13:14]

(I Corinthians 15: 51-55)

The last trumpet is the seventh trumpet.

“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.’ ”

(Revelation 11:15)

Also, notice the parallel wording of the following three passages:

1.   “The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘It is done!’ ” (Revelation 16:17) This is also what Jesus said, on the cross, when He gave up His spirit.
2.   “But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.” (Revelation 10:7)
3.   “The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.’ ” (Revelation 11:15)

At the seventh trumpet, the mystery of God’s grace towards the Gentiles, through Jesus’ death, will be complete. The time of man’s rule will be done. Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel 2: 34-35 (and 2: 44-45) will be fulfilled. At the seventh trumpet, Jesus returns, to strike down the nations and then, to rule them with an iron scepter. And at the seventh trumpet, the body of/bride of Christ will go up to meet Him in the air, as He arrives.

The day of His return is also referred to as ‘The Day of the Lord’. When He returns, He will

1.   do battle with the wicked, who have gathered to fight against Him (and against the nation of Israel) in the Valley of Armageddon. After defeating them, He will
2.   take the throne and rule over the Earth for a thousand years.

They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

“Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘It is done!'” (Revelation 16: 12-17)

Right there, sandwiched in between the sixth and seventh bowls, is Jesus telling us to be ready, that He is coming like a thief! Notice how out of place this verse is, in the context of the passage.

Now, here is a rather long passage, from Revelation 19, after the Tribulation period has already been described.

“He will rule them with an iron scepter.” [Psalms 2:9] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. [refers to Revelation 14: 17-20, which immediately follows the harvest of the righteous–Rev. 14: 14-16] On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.” [Jesus makes reference to this in Matthew 24:28–another very interesting, out-of-context verse]

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. [Revelation 16: 12-14] But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh. [Matthew 24:28 fulfilled]” (Revelation 19: 11-21)

The Bible is pretty clear that we will be here (those of us who survive) through all but the very end of the Tribulation. The pre-Tribulation Rapture teaching is a dangerous fallacy that has the potential to strip many Americans of their faith when persecution arrives. It will also confuse many, with regards to the identity of The Antichrist, because those who believe in a pre-Tribulation Rapture may dismiss the Antichrist as ‘impossible that he’s the one’ because ‘we are still here’.

However, II Thessalonians 2 makes it clear that we WILL see the ‘man of sin’ (Antichrist) revealed. This will take place after a great ‘falling away’. Jesus will NOT return until these two events have taken place.

“Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.” (II Thessalonians 2: 1-4)

In the ‘Heaven Awaits 2011’ video, the speaker explicitly says that the coming of Jesus and our being gathered to Him are two separate events. THIS IS WRONG! Matthew 24 and Mark 13 show plainly that it is one event:

Immediately after the distress of those days *

‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ [Isaiah 13:10 & 34:4]

At that time ** the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” (Matthew 24: 29-31)

*Immediately after the distress of wars, famines, earthquakes, false prophets, persecution, and the flight of Israel into the wilderness for three and a half years . . .

** at that time = a time when the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. I believe this corresponds with Rev. 6: 12-14

“I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place” (Rev. 6: 12-14)

So, after the distress, these signs will occur in the heavens. And then (at that time) Jesus will appear in the sky . . . and all the nations will mourn.

Let me go back to the verses in Revelation 6 that follow the ones I just gave . . .

“Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?’ ” (Revelation 6: 15-17)

When they see either these signs in the heavens, or Jesus Himself coming, everyone hides in caves [and ‘bunkers’] and among the rocks of the mountains–because the great day of God’s wrath has come . . . the day of the Lord . . . the day He comes to strike down the nations (then He will ‘rule them with an iron scepter’).

I believe that these are the same people who, in Revelation 16:16 (after the pouring out of the 6th bowl of God’s wrath), have gathered in the plain of Megiddo . . . Armageddon. Remember again, Jesus’ out of context words in Revelation 16:15, because I believe it shows that these (Revelation 6: 12-17 and Revelation 16: 14-16 and Matthew 24: 29-31) are parallel passages:

“Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.” (Revelation 16: 15)

But back to the point–yes, Jesus comes at the last trumpet, to strike down the nations . . . but, as Matthew 24 and Mark 13 clearly show, this is ALSO when he gathers the elect.

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” (Matthew 24: 30-31)

and again in the gospel of Mark

“But in those days, following that distress,

‘‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ [Isaiah 13:10 & 34:4]

At that time men will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.” (Mark 13: 24-27)

Many people talk about a preTribulation Rapture where Jesus ‘comes as a thief in the night’. But both First Thessalonians and Second Peter show that they are misapplying the phrase.  It is the day that Jesus returns to the Earth (aka The Day of the Lord), that will come as a thief–not a secret Rapture.

” . . . for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” (I Thessalonians 5: 2-3)

and

“But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare . . . That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.” (II Peter 3: 10-12)

This also lines up with Rev. 6: 12-14:

” . . . The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red . . . The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.”

Because, with the Earth’s atmosphere rolled back, everything on Earth will certainly be laid bare and be destroyed by the heat of the sun.

More about the LORD’s return is found in First Thessalonians:

“We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” (I Thessalonians 4: 14-17)

“God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him”–this means that when Jesus returns, He will bring with Him all the Christians who have already died. But listen to how this happens: “the Lord himself will come down from heaven . . . and the dead in Christ will rise first.” Then, together with all the resurrected Christians, Jesus continues to proceed towards the Earth (bringing with Him all the Christians who have already died).

Then “we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord” . . . “we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air”.

First Corinthians tells us the same thing:

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” (I Corinthians 15: 51-52)

These Scriptures outline the reasons I say that The Tribulation and The Second Coming are one and the same. I’m sorry that I can’t give you ‘better news’. But does this mean all hope is lost? By no means. God does not intend for us to suffer wrath.

“For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Thessalonians 5: 9)

” . . . and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead–Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.” (I Thessalonians 1:10)

Not only will He rescue us, He will be with us.

” . . . And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 20)

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23: 4)

“The king’s command was so urgent and the furnace so hot that the flames of the fire killed the soldiers who took up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and these three men, firmly tied, fell into the blazing furnace.

Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”

They replied, “Certainly, O king.”

He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”

Nebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!”

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. ” (Daniel 3: 22-28)

” . . . if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.” (II Peter 2: 9)

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Luke 21: 36)

Jesus would not have told us to pray that we would be counted worthy to escape, if it were not possible for some.

“I know your deeds . . . I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name . . . Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” (Revelation 3: 8-10)

We must understand that the wrath of God is not the same as tribulation. Jesus promised that, in this world, we would have tribulation. Trials and hardship come to each of us at different times. Although we do not understand it, we know that suffering has its place.

Suffering can solidify our faith.

” . . . though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.” (I Peter 1: 6-7)

Suffering can put our priorities in the right order, and help us to see–and live–life from a spiritual perspective.

“Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.” (I Peter 4: 1-2)

Suffering can mature us.

” . . . we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.” (Romans 5: 3-5)

Suffering can purify us.

“ . . . ‘Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.” (Daniel 12: 9-10)

But, besides the benefits that it can provide us, God sometimes has another reason for allowing us to suffer.

“Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And,

“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,

what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” [Proverbs 11: 31]

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” (I Peter 4: 12-19)

If we don’t deal with sin in our lives, God will.

“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son.” (Proverbs 3: 11-12)

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12: 7-11)

Jesus tells the church at Laodicea (the ‘lukewarm church’ which represents the condition of the American Church today):

“I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.” (Revelation 3: 18-19)

At least a portion of today’s American Church is going to suffer during The Tribulation. Revelation 3: 17-22 tells us we are not pleasing to Him right now. Jesus is warning those who will listen to repent. However, verse 19 promises us that He is going to rebuke and discipline those who don’t.

Our Lord’s desire for His Church, and the purpose for everything He does in our lives is this:

that we be “a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.” (Ephesians 5: 27)

The Lord knows how to deal with His children. For those who are not walking in righteousness, The Tribulation will produce the outcome He desires.

“See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction . . . ” (Isaiah 48: 10)

“This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.'” (Zechariah 13: 9)

“To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen” (Jude 24-25)

Are you ‘Rapture ready’?  If you are an American Christian–most likely not.

I think most Christians have heard about the false prophet, Harold Camping, whose latest prediction for ‘The Rapture’ and judgment day did not happen.  But, rather than laughing at those who set dates, and who have probably put their lives in order, you should take inventory of yourself.  After you hear what I have to say, I believe you will thank God that judgment day was NOT May 21st!

The American Church is not ready for a ‘Rapture’!  American Christians behave themselves like the people around them–and in America, you really don’t want to behave like the people around you, trust me.

America has become a nation of  spiritually filthy, idolatrous, greedy people.  Sometimes it’s hard to see it from ‘down here’ among them–after all, we were all made from the same ‘dust’.

We tend to see ourselves in the context of the people around us, or the people on TV.  We probably look pretty good, compared to a lot of people–but God sees things very differently from ‘up there’.

Thankfully, God has given us the Bible, so that we can examine things ‘down here’,  according to His standards.  The standards God judges us by are holiness . . . perfection . . . blamelessness . . . and purity.

When Jesus returns, these are the people who the angels will gather to Him:

  • those who are spotless
  • those who have been purified
  • those who have been refined
  • those who are blameless
  • those who are  holy
  • those who are without stain, wrinkle, or any other blemish

As the Scriptures say:

‘Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked . . .’  Daniel 12: 10

‘So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.’ 2 Peter 3: 14

‘Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.’ Daniel 11: 35

. . .  Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.’  Ephesians 5: 25-27

‘ So far, so good” you say?  ‘I think I’m doing alright.’  Hmmm.  Let’s look a little closer.  Lets use the ‘magnifying glass’ of Scriptures that talk about sin.  But first, lets be clear:  If there is willful, deliberate sin in your life, which you have not repented of–Christ’s blood is not covering it.  The only way to apply the blood of Christ to your sin is to confess and repent!

‘If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?  For we know [serve] him who said,  “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”  and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.‘  Hebrews 10: 26-31

This passage is specifically speaking to Christians.  The God of the Old Testament, who judged His people, is the same God of the New Testament, who made a way of mercy.  But don’t think you are going to fool Him.  If you want to live outside of His covenant of mercy, then you will pay for your own sins.  He will judge everyone who lives outside His covenant of mercy.

If your pastor tries to explain this passage away–woe to him!!

When you accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, you made a covenant with God (sealed with His blood) to live a life of holiness–to be set apart from the world.  If you do not fulfill your part of the covenant towards Him, He is not under obligation to fulfill His part towards you (protection, provision, and eternal life).

In other words, if you are no longer living a life of holiness, set apart from the world, then you have broken the covenant of His mercy.  It is cancelled . . . null and void . . . powerless to save you.  You have, in effect, divorced God.  If that is the case, you need to renew your covenant with Him!  That begins with confessing your sins and repenting.

‘ . . . “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” ‘  2 Timothy 2: 19

‘No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.’  1 John 3:6

The whole doctrine of ‘The Rapture’ is that Jesus will return for His people–those who are in covenant with Him.  If you have broken that covenant, then you are no longer in covenant with Him–you are no longer His.  (The only thing that can separate you from God is your willful sin. )

Which brings us to another topic that pastors seem to avoid these days:  sin.  (Woe to him who is politically correct, for he denies the truth.)  Here is a [partial] list of things that the Bible specifically says will keep you from inheriting the kingdom of God.

Here are several passages in Scripture to back up what I’m saying:

‘Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:  Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. ‘ 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10

‘But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.’ Revelation 21: 8

‘Outside are the dogs [male prostitutes], those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood [those who hate truth and liars].’ Revelation 22:1 5

You may notice, in these passages, that several other things are mentioned:

  • being cowardly
  • being unbelieving
  • hating truth

These are not sins, per se–but they will cause you not to endure to the end.  And it is imperative, that we endure  . . . to the end.

‘Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering.  Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.  You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.  You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while,

“He who is coming will come and will not delay.

But my righteous one will live by faith.

And if he shrinks back,

I will not be pleased with him.”

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.’    Hebrews 10: 32-39

‘ . . . if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us . . . ‘  2 Timothy 2: 12

Speaking of end-time Christians, Revelation says:

‘This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.’  Revelation 13: 10

‘This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.’  Revelation 14:12

It is not enough just to believe, not enough to endure for a while–we must endure to the end!  Here are Jesus warnings to us, concerning the last days:

‘All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’  Matthew 10: 22

‘Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’  Matthew 24: 12-13

‘All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’  Mark 13: 13

If you are on a basketball team, and the team makes it to the championships, and you are in the last quarter of the last game . . . and you quit . . . you cannot say you won, when the team wins the championships!  You will not share in the trophy, or the victory celebration.  You will be kicking yourself because you did not endure to the end.  All you did, up to the point when you quit, counts for nothing!  You are not a winner!

Conversely, if you are injured at the beginning of the season, and you have to spend the majority of the season on the bench–you are still a winner at the end . . . because you did not quit!  Even if you’re injured, you still have to show up for practices, you still have to wear your uniform, and be present at the games.

Injured or not, if you simply stop participating and doing what is required of you, you will no longer be on the team.  So it is with Christianity.  It requires your participation, and your endurance . . . to the end.

But here is what is going to be the undoing of many people in these last days.

‘They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.’

2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12

The only remedy for this is to hate wickedness and develop a love for the truth (pray too, that God will grant you a love of the truth).

If you do not fight wickedness in your own life, if you don’t turn away from sin . . . you will not love truth . . . because truth exposes sin.  In order to have victory over sin, you must love truth.

‘This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.  Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. ‘  John 3: 19-20

‘Walking in the light

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all  sin.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.’  1 John 1: 5-10

For Christians Who Are Struggling Spiritually

When Is The Rapture?

It’s Not Going To Happen The Way You Expect

I usually have about 50-80 hits per day on my site.  Nothing to brag about.  However, for some reason, 250+ people came to my site on Monday to find out more about the murals at the Denver International Airport.  Where did these people come from?  How did they find out about my blog?  What made them all wonder about the airport murals that day?  (The murals were first ‘exposed’ several years ago.)

I say all that as a lead in to what I intended to write today.

I had a glimpse, a few hours ago, of something I had not considered.  Those of us (just ordinary people) who are ‘awake’ to what is going on (the United States shadow government, Bilderbergers, CFR, Bible Prophecy, etc.)  have been frustrated at how many people are ‘sleeping’ (unaware).  We have practically been screaming to people to wake up–to family (who won’t listen), to friends (who won’t listen), and finally, to the whole nameless faceless world out there via the internet.  I think we have been so intent on getting people to wake up, that we have not stopped to consider what will happen when they do.

Most of us who post to the internet are aware that things stay in cyberspace ‘forever’–at least the way things are set up now they do.  That, at least, has been a comfort.  We know we have done our part and said our piece.  Someday, someone will take heed.  It may be today, next month, next year . . . or twenty years from now.  The airport mural story illustrates that.  It was written over a year ago.

What I glimpsed today was the face of a young person who has awakened to what is going on.  This was a real person, a young man who had posted a video on YouTube.  As I watched his video I noticed, and remembered, a lot of things.

  • Most people are really angry when they wake up to the situation
  • Young people tend to be more brash and reckless
  • Young people tend to have less impulse control
  • Young people tend to be more violent and have shorter tempers

Young people are the generation(s) that are going to reap the fruit of what is now being sown–in other words, they are going to have a lot more to be angry about.  As conditions worsen, they are going to be looking for answers . . . and for someone to blame.  As they start asking questions, they are going to find the same answers we did . . . and they are going to find the things we are writing, trying to wake you (their parents and grandparents).  However, I believe that their anger is going to be magnitudes greater than yours/ours.

I suspect that they are going to continue to ignore what we are writing, until the economy gets worse.  But, eventually they are going to wake up to the fact that there is no ‘American Dream’ possible for them, that this is not just an ‘economic downturn’, and that the situation is not going to improve.  They are going to be angry.  Then they will begin to look for someone to blame.

They will be just as angry as we are at the international bankers and corrupt government officials.  But here’s something to consider:  when they see how long we/you have known . . . how long the warning message has been going out . . . and how we/you preferred not to deal with it–especially while something COULD have been done, without bloodshed . . . they are going to discover how they have been betrayed, by the generations that went before them.

When they are homeless, and going without meals, and they realize that we (their parents and grandparents)  knew about this but did nothing–that we didn’t want to rearrange our lives and endure a little hardship now so they would not endure a living hell later . . . how do you think they are going to feel towards you?  Do you suppose there will be one bit of respect, loyalty or compassion left in their hearts for you?

(For those of you who say you are Christians–do you think there will ever again be one iota of respect in their hearts for your God, or for Christianity?)

It may stink to consider making sacrifices in your life–but it has become the American way of life to borrow from the future.  We don’t deny ourselves anything, even though we know there will be a price to pay ‘someday’.

Here’s a news flash:  ‘Someday’ is your children and grandchildren!!

What we do, and don’t pay for, today is going to be a burden on the backs of our children and grandchildren.  You may be able to put the thought out of your mind and go ahead and indulge yourself, but I guarantee that every halting step they take, under all those heavy burdens, they will think of us.  (For those of you who worry about euthanasia in your old age–your subconscious is trying to get a message to you now: ‘you will reap what you sow!!’)

But I’m not just talking about how we spend our money–I’m talking about how we deal with, or better stated, how we don’t deal with problems.  The things we don’t deal with today are going to have to be dealt with ‘someday’.  Yes, there it is again:  ‘Someday’ is your children and grandchildren!!

It is time for our generation(s) to grow up and be adults!  It is time to start thinking about those who are following behind us.  As long as we continue to each ‘look out for number one’, as long as we continue to look the other way and not deal with the problems our nation is facing, the more responsibility we are putting on our children and grandchildren’s generations to clean it all up!

Here’s another news flash:  While our backs are turned, the plans of evil people come to fruition.

As long as we continue to focus only on ourselves, evil people are spinning webs to ensnare our children and grandchildren.  There is still time to confront what is going on.  There is still opportunity for a bloodless revolution, but the window of opportunity is closing.

Let me paint a picture for you–if we fail to deal with the evil and corruption that are entrenched in our government and economy, and if we fail to do it soon, things are going to radically change for the worse.  That’s fine if you want to live under that kind of a system–but if we don’t do anything, we are imposing that system upon future generations-who probably don’t want it!

Truth be told, we don’t want it either–we are just being too lazy and self-absorbed to do anything to prevent it.  We are hanging onto our comfort today, and the HOPE that it won’t turn out that way.  But we are wrong on both counts.  Because of our not dealing with it, things will not be comfortable for our children and grandchildren–and they will not have the luxure of hope, like we still do.

Contrary to what some comfortable people might think–losing one’s home does not drive most people to desperation.  Losing one’s car does not drive most people to desperation.  Even losing one’s reputation and credibility doesn’t drive most people to desperation.  What DOES drive people to desperation is losing HOPE!

Weigh that against the sacrifices you could potentially make to help turn things around.

children/grandchildren:  NO HOPE   vs.   you:  loss of credibility for speaking up

children/grandchildren:  NO HOPE   vs.   you:  reputation affected by protesting injustice or corruption

children/grandchildren:  NO HOPE   vs.   you:  giving up something to make a difference

children/grandchildren:  NO HOPE   vs.   you:  giving up the comfort of living in denial

What all of this is leading up to is what I saw:

If  WE, this generation of parents and grandparents, do not do what we can . . . someday our children and grandchildren, desperate and without hope, will rise up to fight.

If  WE do not initiate a bloodless revolution, while ‘cooler heads prevail’ . . . someday our children and grandchildren will give their lives to win back their freedom.

If WE do not surrender some of our comfort now and do what we can . . . someday the blood of our children and grandchildren will flow in the streets.

If WE do not do what we can now, we will have betrayed our children and grandchildren, and become complicit in the crimes against their generations . . . and their blood will be upon OUR hands.

If we do not do something now, while the opportunity still exists, they will take matters into their own hands.  When they wake up to what is going on, they are going to angrily (and I fear, violently) take matters into their own hands.  They could awaken any day.  How long does it take for something to ‘go viral’ on the internet?

I find my  position, in some ways, reversed.  I now pray God keeps the younger generation asleep and unaware–and I pray that our generation wakes up and does something soon!

Please–for the love of your children, for the love of your grandchildren–please do what you can!  Speak up–spread the word–wake your friends and family.  (You may lose credibility for awhile, but when the truth comes out you will be vindicated. )  Resist lawfully and nonviolently.  But for goodness sake–start fighting back!

The only way to keep our children from starting an angry violent revolution tomorrow, is that we deal with the mess ourselves today.

(Continued in Saving America–Where Do We Begin?)

If This Is True, We’d Better Not Yield To The Temptation

Overnight Disaster!!

This, without a doubt, is going to be the most outlandish post I’ve ever written.  I don’t say that with pride–I don’t like to be strange any more than anyone else does.  I say it so that you will know that I know this is really hard to believe.  I have no proof.  You’ll have to pray about these things yourself, believing that God will show you if they are true, or not.

I am presenting my ideas and opinions, based on what I know, and what I have heard.  These things are not spelled out in the Bible, but are interpretations of latter days prophecies.  Again, you need to pray about these ideas yourself, and ask God to show you if they are true.

Satan tries to entrap men in a web of lies.  This web has many strands that all come together eventually, when The Antichrist steps onto the stage.  One of these strands is the New Age religious movement.  I haven’t said much about it so far.  This post is going to be an addition to, or response to, several interviews that I listened to.  The speaker is Augusto Perez.  In order for you to understand what I am going to say, I highly recommend that you first listen to the interviews.  If you can’t listen to all three, then please at least listen to the third interview.

A lot of what Augusto says may seem very strange to you, if you haven’t heard any of it before.  As a Christian, it was hard for me to consider too–but then I had to look at it from a different perspective.  I had to call on my past experience with the occult, and the things I was taught and believed at that time.  From that perspective, I knew that the things he was saying ARE representative of the very outlandish things that people (who are involved in the occult aka ‘New Age’ ) believe.

Augusto explains that he believes The Mark of The Beast will be more than just a microchip or a mark on the forehead or hand.  He believes that–for God to say that there is no forgiveness for those who take The Mark–there must be something very different about The Mark itself.  We know that God forgives and redeems even those who have sworn to serve Satan, if they repent–therefore, it must be about the nature of The Mark itself.  (Again, this is his opinion–you can listen to him present his case and dispute it with him if you disagree.)

Augusto believes that The Mark is part of the Luciferian ritual that the New World Order/New Age religion is going to demand of all who wish to live and enter into the Age of Aquarius.  Those who refuse the initiation will be killed.  He believes that this Mark actually, somehow, changes your DNA.  He talked about a 24th chromosome.  (If you look into the New Age religion, you will be able to find info about the Luciferian ritual, transition into the Age of Aquarius, and changes to our DNA.)  He also talks about who he believes will be The False Prophet, and how it may even be possible that he is the product of some kind of cloning or hybridization using blood from the Shroud of Turin.

Now, this is where my opinions come in, in response to what Augusto says.

In the last week or two, I read someone’s account of finding the Ark of the Covenant.  On the Mercy Seat, of the Ark, was the blood of Jesus Christ that was spilled during His crucifixion.  I am not going to elaborate on that.  I don’t know if the claims are true.  HOWEVER, what did stand out to me was that they said they had some of the blood tested.  The blood was still alive and the cells began to replicate when they gave them the proper conditions in the laboratory and . . . when they tested the blood, it had 24 chromosomes.  Twenty three were from his mother, Mary, and one was a Y chromosome–the seed of God Himself.

All of that is extremely remarkable–if it is true.  But, what has me excited is that these two different, unconnected sources of information–that seem to be about two completely different things–may actually fit together!

If the New Age plan to change the DNA of those who are ascending to the next Age (Aquarius) is about adding a chromosome, with the promise of health, wisdom, vitality, etc. . . . could it be that the 24th chromosome is the 24th chromosome of Jesus Christ . . . taken from the shroud of Turin and replicated?

If this DNA change IS part of the Luciferian ritual and IS part of The Mark of The Beast, could this theft of God’s DNA be the reason that there will be no forgiveness for those who take The Mark of The Beast?

If The False Prophet is empowered by the (stolen) blood of Jesus Christ, this could explain his ability to do miracles and to breathe life into The Image of The Beast.  This could explain why there is no forgiveness for anyone who worships The Image of The Beast (which receives its life from Satan, via the miracle working power of the blood of Jesus Christ).

If this is true, there remains much more to learn about the blood of Christ!

This would also explain why Christians have to be killed.  If Christians were to reveal, and be able to prove, the origin of the 24th chromosome, it would point people once again to Jesus Christ.  And that is definitely NOT part of the enemy’s plan!

UPDATE 12/18/12:

I now strongly doubt that the shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Christ.  I think we may have been set up for the arrival of a fallen angel posing as an ‘ascended master’ called Sananda Emmanuel.  Pictures representing this ‘ascended master’ look very much like the face on the Shroud of Turin, which ALSO looks very much like the typical ‘Jesus’ portraits that have been representing our Lord for the last several hundred years.  (In fact, the model who posed for the famous portrait was the homosexual lover of the artist.  The model was Cesare Borgia the illegitimate son to Pope Alexander the VI)!

If this ‘ascended master’ turns out to be the ‘False Prophet’ of Revelation 13, think of how many people have already been set up to accept him, with open arms. For some, all it will take is that he speaks well, makes them feel good, and looks like the pictures of Jesus they’ve always seen.

Check out the three photos below:

“And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain upon tablets, so he may run who reads it.

For still the vision awaits its time; it hastens to the end–it will not lie. If it seem slow, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.

Behold, he whose soul is not upright in him shall fail, but the righteous shall live by his faith.” (Habakkuk 2: 2-4)

“indeed, wine betrays him; he is arrogant and never at rest. Because he is as greedy as the grave and like death is never satisfied, he gathers to himself all the nations and takes captive all the peoples.

Will not all of them taunt him with ridicule and scorn, saying,“ ‘Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and makes himself wealthy by extortion! How long must this go on?’  Will not your creditors suddenly arise? Will they not wake up and make you tremble? Then you will become their victim.

Because you have plundered many nations, the peoples who are left will plunder you. For you have shed man’s blood; you have destroyed lands and cities and everyone in them.

“Woe to him who builds his realm by unjust gain to set his nest on high, to escape the clutches of ruin!

You have plotted the ruin of many peoples, shaming your own house and forfeiting your life.” (Habakkuk 2: 5-10)

““Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbors, pouring it from the wineskin till they are drunk, so that he can gaze on their naked bodies.” (Habakkuk 2: 15)

“You will be sated with contempt instead of glory. Drink, yourself, and stagger! The cup in the LORD’s right hand will come around to you, and shame will come upon your glory!” (Habakkuk 2: 16)

“The violence done to Lebanon* will overwhelm you; the destruction of the beasts will terrify you, for the blood of men and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell therein.” (Habakkuk 2: 17)

Still think we serve the same God?  Still think Islam is a religion of peace?

But don’t Jews, Christians and muslims all worship the same God?  NO!!!  And this is the very basis of our differences!  There is NO common ground between islam and Judaism, or islam and Christianity!

Christianity has Judaism as its foundation, and we worship the same God.  (After all, Jesus Christ is our Jewish Messiah!!)  But the god of islam is not the God of Jews and Christians.

This should leave no doubt:

"GOD BLESS HITLER" placard

"GOD BLESS HITLER" placard, held by a Muslim protester

Indeed, the muslim god ‘allah’ would be proud of hitler!

But it should go without saying, that a god who could be called upon to bless hitler for his atrocities towards the Jews, is not the God worshiped by Christians and Jews–not the  God that claimed them as His people and made a covenant with them that He sealed with HIS own blood!

And, lest you think this is just a few people, or a recent phenomenon, consider this . . .

[During World War II] “The Arab leader from British Palestine, the Mufti Haj Amin al-Husseini, was actively allied with Hitler. The numerous meetings between the Mufti and Hitler, as well as the Mufti’s radio broadcasts urging Muslims to fight alongside the Nazis, are well-documented.”

In today’s Middle East, admiration for hitler still goes hand in hand with muslim hatred towards Jews.
