I am so amazed, and grieved, by the greed and depravity that rules men’s hearts.

Jesse Ventura’s latest episode of Conspiracy Theory is just mind boggling, as far as the depths of evil to which some will sink.  I’m too disgusted to even know what to write, but some of you may find this information very informative, so I am posting the link.

Let it suffice to say, that one of the things God is judging America for is GREED.

We are all so steeped in it, so accustomed to it, so warped by it, that most of us would vehemently deny it!  Almost all of us have unquestioningly adopted the paradigm that ‘the ends justify the means’ as long as they are done in the name of capitalism and free enterprise!  We give just about anything a pass if it is done by some crafty entrepreneur.  The mantra is “everyone is entitled to make a profit . . . ” and, as political correctness dictates, we nod and smile.

People’s hearts are desperately wicked!  Wealthy, influential men cloak and protect their selfish inclinations by incorporating/creating a corporation to shield their actions.  Then, they believe they are exempt from the constraints of decency and morality.  After all, a corporation is a legal entity–a proxy for men.  But, a corporation is not a human, and is not bound to a moral code.

Such men must think they are quite clever, but God is not mocked!

Behind every corporate facade are men–men who make the decisions, men whose hearts will be judged.  It makes no difference if  they shield themselves behind a corporate identity–they are still accountable, to God, for the choices they make, in the service of that corporation.  They cannot simply leave God at the door when they go to work.

Every officer, everyone on the Board of Directors, perhaps even every employee and investor. . . every one is a willing participant, a part of the giant organism that we refer to as a corporation.  Each one has a role in the actions of the corporation, and each one will answer for their part.

People, don’t be fooled!  It doesn’t matter where you go, or what you do–there is nowhere that you can go to escape God.  You are responsible for every action you take, every word you speak.  But, more than that, you MUST understand, that you are responsible for your HEART . . . what you spend your time dreaming about, working towards, loving, hating, wishing for, fantasizing about.

God sees your heart, and he knows what you condone, and what you condemn, what you envy, and what disgusts you.  Every day people put on a nice outward show, to win the approval of others.  But it is only men that judge by outward appearance. It is what is in your heart that God will judge!

“For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries.
The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,
and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.””    Rev. 18:3

““When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her. Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:

“ ‘Woe! Woe, O great city,
O Babylon, city of power!
In one hour your doom has come!’

The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more– cargoes of gold, silver, precious stones and pearls . . .

The merchants who sold these things and gained their wealth from her will stand far off, terrified at her torment. They will weep and mourn and cry out:

“ ‘Woe! Woe, O great city,
dressed in fine linen, purple and scarlet,
and glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls!
In one hour such great wealth has been brought to ruin!’ ”   Revelation 18: 9-17

“Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a large millstone and threw it into the sea, and said:

“With such violence
the great city of Babylon will be thrown down,
never to be found again  . . .

Your merchants were the world’s great men.
By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
In her was found the blood of prophets and of the saints,
and of all who have been killed on the earth.””   Rev. 18: 21-24

UPDATE 10/17/12:

https://dontbefooled666.wordpress.com/2012/10/17/i-sit-as-a-queen/

New re-discovery in Queens, NY.

I was just thinking . . . what if we could change the weather?  What if we could create droughts in other lands?  What if the crops failed for a year or two–would the farmers have any seeds left?

If the farmers had no seeds left, why not sell them our Super Seeds that would give a magnificent yield–if they also used our fertilizers?

But if the farmers agreed to buy the Super Seeds–would they be able to go back to saving some of their crop to be used as seed for next year? Hmmm, that wouldn’t do.  We’d want them to come back and buy more seeds from us next year, wouldn’t we?

No problem, the seeds from this year’s crop of Super Seed Hybrid Plants are no good for saving and planting.  And besides, the yields are so much better–can’t the farmers afford to buy our seeds and fertilizer now, and still come out ahead?

It’s a win-win situation for everyone!  Does this mean they’re hooked for life?

It’s a strategy that works for tobacco and drugs. We are entitled to make a profit, aren’t we?

What better place to try out our new products–in their countries they don’t have those bothersome regulations that prohibit such things!

No, no regulations at all.  And if we build factories and provide them jobs–wouldn’t they look the other way?

Yes, surely they’re desperate for the jobs.  And think how much money we could save by not having to deal with American regulations, unions, insurance, etc!

Or the expense of trying to comply with all the guidelines for disposing of chemicals . . .

We could really increase our bottom line!  That would make the investors happy!

And maybe a little extra for us besides.

But, if we cause droughts, won’t that cause famine and starvation?

No problem, it will help with the goal of population reduction!  Why do poor people want to have so many kids anyway?  And besides, who could prove it was us?  Even if they could, what could they do?

All sarcasm aside, such a scenario may or may not be possible.  But if you don’t think things like this are happening, involving American corporations, wherever the opportunity presents itself, then you are blissfully ignorant.

And if you are able to lay your head on your pillow at night and dream sweet dreams, then thank a veteran for being willing to go out and face the ugliness of life so that you can remain blissfully unaware.

And thank God that you had the good fortune of being born an American and living in the land of bliss–while it lasted.

Because, as a veteran these days can tell you, those who are plotting ‘terror’ against America started out, more often than not, as people like you and me who are  justifiably outraged at our corporate/government intrusion into their countries and exploitation of their people and circumstances.

When you look around and see the anger and frustration in America because these same tactics are now being used against the American people, understand that this has been going on for decades, in country after country around the world as we ‘spread our influence’ and increased our number of enemies.

A beehive is a pretty mellow place, until you stick your hand inside, to try and take their honey.  Don’t be surprised at the swarm of enemies that are seeking to retaliate against America.

(In no way do I advocate or condone what our enemies do–but I do understand why.  As for our corporations and government–I think what they do is inexcusable.  By the way, the scenario above is based on actual events.)

An Open Letter To Hillary Clinton

There is a whole group of people that we, in our modern society have ignored, to our own peril. Certain people are just born gatekeepers–watchmen if you will, or whistle blowers.

If you look at our worst disasters, there were people who had been trying to warn us. The 9/11 attacks . . . Bernie Madoff’s ponzi scheme . . . protests against the Vietnam War . . . What about the ‘Green Revolution’, genetically modified crops, exploitation by multinational corporations . . . (oh, I’ll bet you haven’t heard about the results of some of these things, but you will).

Our failure to listen has brought us to where we are now–and there is more to come. We have been ‘sowing bad seed’ for quite awhile. Not all of it has reached fruit-bearing age yet.

Why is it that our society has this blind spot? Certain people are just more tuned in to their intuition, the Spirit of God and/or the ‘collective consciousness’. They are able to forecast trends or see a few steps ahead of the masses.

If a person uses this gift to advance himself by channeling it into creating a business, it rises to the top, they become well-known and we marvel at their foresight. But those who try to use it for the well-being of others, to warn them of impending problems, we label as extremists or nut jobs. Why is this?

One of my theories is that, in our time at least, what they say has tended to conflict with somebody’s bottom line. We have elevated the corporation to the status of a god–and God forbid we should do or say anything that questions the motives, or threatens the intentions of this god!

Capitalism is good, but not perfect. (I am a capitalist too, make no mistake, because I don’t know of a better system. But, in its present form, I think it is completely corrupt–a system that perpetrates greed, exploitation, and corruption.) It is seriously flawed if it operates without ethical oversight.

The reverence and worship for the American Corporation that we hear today, in the words of so many proponents of capitalism, reveals their blind spot, their Achille’s heel if you will. They are under its spell.

Are we starting to see the character of this god yet? Have all the fiascos of the last couple of decades, and especially the last year, not caught our attention? CORRUPT! Without our watchmen at the gates, corruption thrives! Our politicians have long been ‘in bed’ with these multinational corporations (and international banks–just another kind of multinational corporation). Together, they have formed a shadow government that is really in charge of much of the world *.

And who is it that stands to gain the most from silencing the voices of the gatekeepers? The corrupt political/corporate/banking government. They marginalize and discredit the voices of opposition. This is always the way it works–discredit the witness.

But, here is something to consider–what do the parties involved stand to gain? Doesn’t the fact that the gatekeeper/whistleblower has nothing to gain lend him more credibility? Doesn’t the fact that he is willing to speak out, sometimes at GREAT personal risk, lend him even greater credibility? Can we not believe that not everyone can be bought, that not everyone is motivated by greed? No, instead we are suspicious of someone whose motives we can’t uncover.

There IS a certain breed of people, motivated by the desire for justice and the welfare of others! Many people can’t understand such a motivation, and believe it is just a cover for something sinister, or for a mental defect. But most of us respect that calling if it is channeled into a career as a pastor, teacher or social worker!

It is time to wake up and realize that what we have needed has been here all along. Every society has its watchmen. They are legitimate in their calling, and they are our first line of defense–against corruption, tyranny, exploitation, etc., etc, etc. It’s time to seek them out and listen!!

* The Bible refers to this present-day political/corporate/banking government, in Revelation, as ‘Babylon the Great’. Some call it ‘The Whore of Babylon’.
