In light of the immense suffering that the people of Japan are enduring, this must seem like a particularly callous question.  I am asking it, because God has raised up watchmen to prophesy judgment over America, and some of us are hearing that message quite often.   With such things at the forefront of our consciousness, it can be easy to assume that any Nation that is suffering disaster must be under God’s judgment.  However, that may not be the case.

I know very little of Japan, and do not have an answer to that question.  However, I do know that before God judges a nation, He raises up watchmen to give a warning and to call the people to repentance.  What do the Christians in Japan say?  Surely God does nothing without first telling His people.

I will share my feelings about the nation of Japan, though I certainly know very little.  Perhaps it will add another small facet of understanding, for those who ponder such things.

I know of Japan, that horrendous acts took place during their war with China.  Cruel, vicious crimes were committed.  The Japanese were a fierce and violent people.

Their lust for war plunged us into World War II, after their unprovoked (as far as I know) attack on Pearl Harbor.  The United States rose up in rage and nearly crushed Japan, when we bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

After that, something changed in the heart of the Japanese people.  I don’t know that the Japanese people ever fell on their knees and repented before God.  I don’t know if they ever called out to God at all.  But I do know that they have  ‘proved their repentance by their deeds’ over more than six decades.

Since World War II, the people of Japan have become a people of civility, and industry.  They have lived quietly, worked with their hands, and created beauty.  They have kept their honor and their word.  They have found the law that God wrote upon their hearts, and they have lived it.

I don’t have the wisdom to say whether God is judging Japan–but I know that hardships come to all of us.  Sometimes they come to chasten us, and other times to refine us.

I urge you not to harden your hearts against the people of Japan . . . not to assume that they are being judged or merit the tremendous hardships that have befallen them.  And I urge you not to harden your heart against God . . . not to assume that He sent these disasters upon them.

Rather, hold the Japanese in your heart and pray for them to have strength.  Pray for God’s mercy upon them, in the weeks and months ahead.  Pray that this hardship further refines them, and brings forth even greater beauty from their souls.  And, most importantly, pray that they will turn their eyes to Jesus and find their strength and inspiration in Him.

Jesus predicted Islam (emphases mine):

“All this I have told you so that you will not go astray.  They will put you out of the synagogue;

in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.  They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.

I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you.”  (from John 16: 1-4)

I was sent a link, as part of a comment to a previous post. In that link, passages from the Bible and the Koran are twisted together to make a case for the opinion that Jesus foretold the coming of Muhammad–that Muhammad was the one referred to as ‘The Counselor’ or ‘The Holy Spirit’.  One of the passages quoted from is John 14, another is from John 16.

I recently wrote posts on John 14, John 15, and John 16, giving correct interpretations.  In this post I will summarize the passages from those chapters that speak about The Counselor aka The Holy Spirit. Hopefully it will be apparent to you that these passages do not foretell the coming of Muhammad–or of any man.

Here are the passages in John 14, 15 and 16 that speak of  The Comforter/The Holy Spirit:

“If you love me, you will obey what I command.   And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever–  the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”  (John 14: 14-16)

“All this I have spoken while still with you.  But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”   (John 14: 25-26)

“When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.  And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.”  (John 15: 26-27)

“. . . It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.  When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:  in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.   But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.  He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.  All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.”  (John 16: 6-15)

According to the article (that puts forth the twisted assumption that Muhammad is The Holy Spirit that Jesus promised would come):

“This prophecy clearly lays down that:

1. The Comforter will come after the departure of Jesus.
2. When the Comforter comes, he will reprove the world of sin, truth and justice.
3. He will guide the world into all truth.
4. The book revealed to him will contain no human word.
5. He will foretell things to come.
6. He will glorify Jesus and clear him of all charges.

Now when we take this prophecy point by point, it is unmistakably proven that it applies to none else but the Holy Prophet Muhammad. He came after Jesus. The Comforter was supposed to reprove the followers of Jesus. Obviously, he could not be a Christian or a Jew .The prophecy must relate to one who would belong to another people but should respect Jesus and promote reverence for him. The Holy Prophet was neither Jew nor a Christian. He was an Ishmaelite. But he defended the honor of Jesus.”

Let me restate these points, with my own comments added:

1. The Comforter will come after the departure of Jesus.
2. When the Comforter comes, he will reprove the world of sin, truth and justice.

A subtle twisting of words, but what the Scripture says is that

“When he comes, he will convict* the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment”

*convict: expose; show one his fault; cause to feel shame

3. He will guide the world into all truth.
4. The book revealed to him will contain no human word.

No such thing is stated.  What IS said is that the Holy Spirit will not speak His own thoughts, but only what He hears from the Father, and what He has heard from Jesus–and He will teach the meaning of Jesus’ parables.

5. He will foretell things to come.
6. He will glorify Jesus and clear him of all charges.

Clear Him of all charges?  No mention of that here.  He will glorify Jesus by opening the eyes of His (Jesus’) followers to the meaning of His words.

All it takes is a little twist to give words a completely different meaning.  Words are necessary to convey thoughts, but if thoughts can be conveyed directly, words are secondary.

When a Christian reads Gods Word (the Bible), the Holy Spirit conveys its meaning to his heart.   When nonChristians read the Bible, all they have are the words–hence the many disputes over the meaning of words and passages, and the habit of  taking things out of context.

When someone uses Bible passages to convey a meaning different than God intended, the Holy Spirit alerts the believer, bringing to mind both God’s intended meaning and other relevant Scriptures.

Here are some other passages that speak about the Holy Spirit:

“I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.  After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.  For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

. . .  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.”  Acts 1: 1-9

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

Now there were staying in Jerusalem God‑fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language.  Utterly amazed, they asked: “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language?

Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome  (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs–we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”

Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine. ”

“Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say.  These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning!  No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

” ‘In the last days, God says,

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,

your old men will dream dreams.

Even on my servants, both men and women,

I will pour out my Spirit in those days,

and they will prophesy.

I will show wonders in the heaven above

and signs on the earth below,

blood and fire and billows of smoke.

The sun will be turned to darkness

and the moon to blood

before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.

And everyone who calls

on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”   Acts 2: 1-21)

“Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.  This man was handed over to you by God’s set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross.  But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.”  (Acts 2: 22-24)

God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.  Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.  (Acts 2: 32-33)
“”Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.   The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off–for all whom the Lord our God will call.””  (Acts 2: 36-39)

Speaking of the passage in John 16 the article says:

“Now when we take this prophecy point by point, it is unmistakably proven that it applies to none else but the Holy Prophet Muhammad.”

How so?  And “unmistakably proven” by whom?  Here the author uses an authoritative tone and words to convince the reader that the matter has already been settled.  This conclusion has been drawn by taking one passage out of context, twisting its words and excluding other relevant Scriptures.

“He came after Jesus. The Comforter was supposed to reprove the followers of Jesus.”

Whoa!  Didn’t you just say

“2. When the Comforter comes, he will reprove the world of sin, truth and justice.”

So, in the end, the author has twisted the Scripture which says

“He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.”

to

“The Comforter was supposed to reprove the followers of Jesus”.

Either from this misunderstanding, or out of thin air, the author draws the conclusion that

“Obviously, he could not be a Christian or a Jew .”

Not only is it not ‘obvious’, there is nothing to support this conclusion.  But all that is beside the point, because the Holy Spirit is not a human being!!

“The prophecy must relate to one who would belong to another people but should respect Jesus and promote reverence for him. The Holy Prophet was neither Jew nor a Christian. He was an Ishmaelite. But he defended the honor of Jesus.”

Jesus warned us about false prophets, saying that many would even say He was the messiah, yet would deceive many.  So, simply ‘defending the honor of Jesus’ does not qualify one as a true prophet of Jehovah.  Especially when one goes on to say:

“Here the Holy Quran specifically says that Jesus was saved from that accursed death designed for him by his enemies. However, they only suspected that they had succeeded in crucifying him. But Allah had not only saved him but admitted him to the circle of His favored ones.”

Yes, you read it right–Islam denies that Jesus actually died on the cross. Therefore Islam denies Jesus’ resurrection, and invalidates the Bible’s promise that His death served as a substitute and payment for our sins.  It also denies the truth of God’s Word, saying that Jesus’ death was a hoax.

None of this should come as a surprise to most people yet, undoubtedly, there are still some people who are mired in the lies told in defense of Islam–and who still believe that Christianity and Islam are compatible and that we serve the same God/god.

Muhammad was neither holy, nor a prophet of God.  The article goes on to say, about Muhammad:

“He led an ideal life, a perfect example to be followed throughout the future.”

By today’s standards, Muhammad was a pedophile, a wife beater, a liar, and a murderer, among other things.  If one is to pronounce him a ‘perfect example’ and say he led an ‘ideal life’, I have to ask: by whose standards was he judged?  How does he fare when judged by the standards of Jehovah?

Jesus lived a perfect life.  No sin was found in Him–ever.  He alone can be judged by the standards of Jehovah and pronounced ‘perfect’ and ‘without spot or blemish’.

Again, from the article:

“The prophecy had said: “He will guide you unto all truth”. Again Muhammad was the only prophet who claimed to have brought a universal and perfect law.”

And because he claims something, it is so?!   At any rate, Muhammad’s claim to have brought a universal and perfect law would have nothing to do with a Scripture verse foretelling that the Holy Spirit would guide believers “into all truth” (convey the true meaning of God’s Word to us as we study it).

Furthermore, God is the lawgiver–not Moses, not Muhammad.  Jesus lived according to all of God’s laws, thus fulfilling them.  He brought us a greater law–a law that fulfills all the others, if we live it: the law of love.

He who loves his brother does not steal from him, sleep with his wife, give false testimony about him, murder him, or covet what he has.  He who loves his wife does not beat her or break her heart by sleeping with another.  He who loves his children is not harsh with them, nor does he spoil them.  He who loves his parents respects and honors them.

He who loves God (Jehovah) will have no gods beside Him (nor make or worship idols).  He who loves God (Jehovah) will not use God’s (Jehovah’s) name in vain, nor use it in ways that would bring dishonor to Him.  He who loves God (Jehovah) will observe the Sabbath and keep it holy.

I defy any Muslim to convince me that Muhammad’s ‘perfect’ Sharia law is superior to Jesus’ law of love!

Sharia, as with any other man-made law, is a twisted web of regulations.  But, unlike western law, Sharia is enforced by draconian punishments such as amputations, hanging and beheading!

God (Jehovah) gave us His laws, not because they had the power to make us obedient, but in order that we would see that we are unable to fulfill them! His Holy Spirit works with His laws, to convince men of their sinfulness, and their inability to live a life of perfection–to lead them to repent and seek mercy from God, in order to save their souls.

Without the power of God’s Holy Spirit within us, none of us is able to keep the law.  We are all sinners and none of us is truly able to reflect the character and likeness of God by our own efforts.  Nevertheless, Jehovah is a God of mercy, and of free will.  Every single person is valuable to him.

Sharia is a system of regulations, based on fear of punishment, that seeks to dominate and control every human being on the face of the earth . . . a system that would cause a man to beat his wife into submission. . . or to murder his daughter to save his own honor . . . or to kill innocents for the ‘glory’ (and blood lust) of his god.  The god ‘Allah’ is the author of this cruel system of domination.

Contrast Allah with Jehovah, The One who grants us each free will, yet freely pardons those who turn from their wicked ways . . . Jehovah, the God who sent His own son to live a sinless life and die on our behalf–so that we can have peace, abundance, love, joy, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness and self control.  Jehovah, whose law is fair and just, and based in love.

No, Sharia law can’t hold a candle to that!  And that is why Allah must resort to deception, fear, intimidation and punishment.  Contrary to what Islam claims, NO ONE is born a Muslim.  Every child is born free, and each person has the right, and the obligation, to choose which God/god he will serve.

Islam, The Religion of Peace

What Is The Gospel?

Here’s The Deal . . .

Only One Way? How Intolerant!

How can I say there’s only one way to God?  Because it’s true.

  • The truth stands alone, but it takes a million lies to cover it up.
  • The truth is simple, but the lies become more and more elaborate.
  • The truth is unchanging, but the lies bend to conform themselves to every shift in society.
  • Contrary to popular opinion, there is only one explanation that is 100% truth.

Consider these things:

  • If there is a God, and if He is good–would He give people free will, or would he control and manipulate them?

That may seem pretty straightforward, He’d give them free will–but have you ever stopped to think about this:

  • How would He prevent bad things from happening, yet not interfere with anyone’s free will?

I don’t believe that’s possible.  So, bad things happen to us all.

And how could everyone NOT love Him, if nothing bad ever happened to any of us?

Lets put it in human terms.  Suppose someone is obsessed with you, but you don’t know it.  They want you to love them, because they ‘love’ you.  So, they lure you into a date, a nice daylong cruise on their private yacht.  But, through a series of unfortunate events, the boat sinks and they save you from drowning.  You end up stranded, alone on a desert island with this person–and for some reason, there is no hope of rescue, ever.

Not knowing that this was all staged, you eventually come to love this person, who is brave and strong and always looking out for you.  You come to depend on them, and they go out of their way to provide what you need.  Yet, it is love based on a lie.

If this person is manipulating and deceiving you, they don’t really love you, aren’t looking out for your best interests, and can’t be trusted. They are not who you thought they were-they are the worst kind of person.   This person has robbed you, for the most part, of your right to choose!  Knowing that, your love would turn to hate.

What kind of a person would be so desperate for your love, that they would go to such great lengths to entrap you?  In fact, don’t we become a bit suspicious of someone who is nothing but devoted to us?  Don’t we eventually perceive their desperation?

Now, if the God who created Heaven and Earth never let anything bad happen to us, and so completely sheltered us–isn’t it possible that we would begin to see Him as desperate and needy, and capable of manipulating and deceiving us?  Could we really trust Him?

And what kind of character would that show Him to have, if He would do that to you?  He would not be a good God, worthy of love and devotion–He would be a desperate, needy, lying, deceiving, evil ‘god’.  (Oh wait, there is someone like that . . . ever heard of someone ‘making a deal with the devil’?  That’s when someone trades in their free will for the promise of all their dreams coming true . . . )

Yet, how many of you blame God when bad things happen to you?  What do you want–free will, or a perfect life that’s free from pain? If He chooses to give you free will, you’re angry when bad things happen.  But, if He took away your free will in order to spare you pain, could you love or respect Him then?

So, assuming we’ve gotten past the question of God’s character . . .

  • Why would He only make one way?

My question to you–why should He make more than one way?  If He is Lord of all, and good, doesn’t He have a monopoly on the ‘product’? (truth and eternal life)

Does Amtrak advertise?  No.  Why not?  Because there is no one else you can turn to for that product.  If you want to ride a train across the U.S., you have to go to Amtrak–on their terms!  You pay the price they require, and you accommodate your schedule to the times their train is going to where you want to go.

And they know this, so why should they waste their effort trying to persuade you?  (And because they’re government run, they don’t really care if they make a profit, or if you’re satisfied with the service–think Post Office, DMV, etc.)

Like Amtrak, and the Post Office, God has a monopoly.  If you want what He alone can provide, you’ll go to Him on His terms.  Not to mention, you are a mere mortal, formed from the dust of the Earth–and He is the Creator and Lord of everything that exists!  Who are you anyway, to think you can negotiate the terms?

Among us Americans, the roots of capitalism are so deep in us, that we don’t even realize it.

  • ‘There’s no free lunch’–yes and no.  Someone has to pay, that’s true–but it might not be you.
  • We are used to dealing with companies that are needy, for us to choose them–because, if we don’t, they die.
  • We want to be convinced, persuaded, wooed–I am the one with the power (the $$ to spend)–beg me to spend it on your product.
  • We are used to hearing lies and exaggerated claims.
  • ‘You get what you pay for’–this one causes us to judge the value of a product by what it costs us.  If it’s free, it can’t be worth much . . .

These are some of the attitudes that make it hard for us to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ.  But these attitudes don’t apply in the relationship between God and man, because:

  • God made everything–we were born into a world that contained everything we needed.  Is that not a ‘free lunch’?  It is not God, but man, that has taken it upon himself to decide who is entitled to have, and who isn’t.  God made enough of everything we need, for all of us.  It is men who refuse to share.
  • God doesn’t need us.  He is complete without us.  He is not needy.  He was, long before we were, and He will continue, even if we should all perish.  Because He does not need us, there is no reason for Him to beg, lie, woo, persuade, exaggerate or deceive us.  And, as I said before, He has a monopoly on the product.  If you choose God, you win.  If you don’t, it’s your loss, not His.
  • You get what you pay for–maybe, where people are concerned (but most of the time you get less).  God is not greedy–everything* is His.  He can make more of whatever He chooses.  He has no costs to cover, no shortage of supplies.  He has no need to hoard.  It pleases Him to share freely.  He isn’t going to gauge ‘how much it’s worth to you’ to exact that much in payment from you,  for the things you need.  He doesn’t deny you, based on your inability to pay.  He is not trying ‘to create a brand for Himself’, that He should only sell things to the highest bidder.  With Him, things are free–that’s God’s economy.  He only asks that you be a good steward of what He provides.

*Actually, I wasn’t completely accurate. . .  in saying that everything is His.  You aren’t.  No man is, unless they choose to be.  Your spirit and your will belong to you–that was a gift to you from God.  You didn’t ask to be born, and He won’t burden you with eternal life, unless you ask for it.

After you have worn out the body He loaned you for your life on this earth, you return it, along with your soul and spirit, to God.  He’ll give your body back to the dust He made you from.  He’ll judge you (by the laws He set down for mankind, and based on how you’ve lived your life).  Then He’ll dispose of what’s left of you.

If, however, while you journey through this life, you come to love truth, righteousness and justice, and long for fellowship with God, there is a way.  One way.  And that should not surprise you.  After all, how many keys can open your front door?  Just one. (Sure, you may  have some exact duplicates, but there is only one configuration of dips and ridges that will line up correctly inside the keyhole to open the lock.)

That way is through genuine repentance, and faith in Jesus’ death on your behalf.  None of us is ‘good enough’ to get there without Him.  We have all sinned and ‘missed the mark’.

An honorable man knocks at the front door–he doesn’t look for a window he can sneak in through.  So it is with the kingdom of God.  If you truly seek God’s mercy, you will go to Him in humbleness, and accept His terms (not with your head held high in haughty pride, demanding that He make you a way that appeals more to you).  And, if your repentance is genuine, the way you live the rest of your life will prove it.

Go to the one who died for you, and ask Him for mercy.  Once you leave this life, it will be too late.

Believe That Allah Is God?

Believe There Are Many Ways To God?

Was Jesus A Prophet?

I had recently heard someone speaking of God’s judgments, and one of the things they said was that God always puts His signature on His judgments–and a lot of times that signature is the number 7.

When I heard about the earthquake in Haiti, and the magnitude being 7.0–I had to stop and wonder if it might have been judgment from God.  Then I wondered what it would be judgment for–and I thought of the widespread practice of voodoo in Haiti.

It shows no compassion to speak of disaster being judgment from God, after the fact.  And I can’t say for sure whether it was or not.  In other posts, I have speculated about whether the earthquake may have been caused by our government.  If it was, it certainly would add to the cruelty, to say it was God’s judgment and we were the ‘hand of God’ in causing it (if we did).

But the mere fact that it may have been caused by man, doesn’t rule out the possibility of it being God’s judgment.  God uses evil nations to carry out His judgment on other nations.  Hear me–he uses EVIL nations, and then He punishes them as well.

In the end, it is the meek who will inherit the earth–not the evil, reprobate souls who would take the life of another to further their own ends.

As I was reading news of the damage after the Haiti quake, there was mention of a woman.  She was walking around, with her hands in the air, looking up toward heaven and crying ‘God have mercy on us, we are sinners!’.

It made me cry.  I believe God’s heart was moved with compassion too.

God Damn America?

An Attack On America Is Imminent!

PLEASE Wake Up!!

One sunny morning, a pilot sets off across the ocean for a distant land. His fuel tank is just large enough to hold enough fuel for the voyage, and maybe a hundred miles extra. Early into his flight, it comes to his attention that he has erred in his navigation, and is a couple of degrees off course. When do you suppose that pilot will make the necessary correction?

If he corrects soon enough, he will only have flown a small distance more than planned. However, if he waits until later to correct, he will have to make a major change, and will have wasted much fuel going in the wrong direction. In fact, if he waits too long to correct, he will run out of fuel and meet destiny at the bottom of the ocean!

America is on the wrong course! As Christians, we are losing our freedoms and rights at an amazing pace! The assault on our liberties was designed to be a blitz attack–so that by the time we figured out what was going on, it would be too late.

We had better start using all the freedoms we have!! For too long we have been voluntarily coerced to refrain from speaking, by the doctrine of ‘political correctness’. Now, we are facing the likely prospect of ‘hate speech’ legislation. There seems to be a principle, that what you give up voluntarily, will later be ‘set in stone’ as law.  People, we can see the storm clouds gathering on the horizon–the time for denial is past!

If you are thinking that, by speaking out and exercising your liberties, it will just draw attention to you and create the persecution you would rather avoid, you may be right–but consider this: we have been quiet, we have been polite, we have been politically correct, yet we have been continually pressured to retreat, to ‘cede more ground’. Now we are expected to be silent in the face of all sorts of abominations!

The hour is late, but speaking out now is better than speaking out never!  Sure, there is much opposition now–but do you think it will lessen in time?

If you find it too hard to speak out now, when it is merely unpopular–how will you have the courage to speak out later, when it is illegal? Don’t count on being courageous tomorrow, if you won’t act with courage today! Courage is built, gradually, upon past experience in being courageous. Conversely, giving in to fear and intimidation only tend to reinforce your tendency to be fearful and intimidated!

And, as Christians, there is one other important factor to consider–the most important one–the God factor!  It pleases God when people act for truth and righteousness, against overwhelming odds, relying on Him for help!!  God can do amazing things!

Do you realize, that if enough people in America repent, and plead with God for mercy, He may relent of judging America now? Be it that He spares America, as an island in the midst of worldwide suffering, or that He postpones the inevitable–it is worth a try people!!  Do not give up hope in the mercy and compassion of our God!!  Have the audacity to trust in Him and ask great things of Him!!

We have failed Him and brought dishonor to His name!  Lets repent and act courageously!  Lets turn things around in America!! Lets wage war on ungodliness!  Lets make abortion illegal!  Lets turn the tide on homosexuality and the indoctrination of our children in the public schools!  Lets push back the unholy tide of Islam and restore Christianity to our schools and our courts!  God is big enough!! He is the God of David,  not Goliath!  He is with the small and weak, that are courageous enough to try great things for His glory!!  Let us go forth to battle, with faith in Him!

Even so, we may die–but better to die honorably, in His service, than to die as cowards and faithless!  Mark my words, the days are coming when you will either deny God (by your words or your actions) or you will be put to death.  Your silence and retreat will not hide you–they will only serve to hasten the arrival of that day.

We Will Turn The World Upside Down!!

The Gates Of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against Us

It’s Time To Push Back!
