For some reason, God has chosen to wake a bunch of us up and reveal many things to us. I believe we, therefore, are to be examples to those around us, of really LIVING the truth of The Word, that God is revealing to us. . . not continuing on as though we were still ignorant of the time in which we are living. If we who KNOW these things will not have the courage to obey God, then who will?

What do we have in common with the world? Yet many who call themselves Christians want to celebrate these pagan holidays with them. How odd is that? What if every Passover, Jewish synagogues filled with witches who wanted to celebrate it too? Wouldn’t that strike you as odd? How strange it seems to the world, that we want to DO as they do, then tell them that they are not going to Heaven because they have different BELIEFS!! (Do we REALLY suppose our BELIEFS will save us, irrespective of whether our actions line up with those beliefs?)

‘Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial*? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM, AND BE YE SEPARATE, saith the Lord, and TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN [THING]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.’ (2 Cor. 6:14-18)

* Belial:

  • As a noun, unprofitableness; wickedness.  In a collective sense, wicked men.

At what point are we Christians finally supposed to be obedient to these words in Scripture? (Are we not in the end times now?) If not now, then when??

Why would we have any desire to continue to walk in darkness and ignorance, after having been shown the light? What communion DO we have with darkness, knowing what we know now? Why would we want the unsaved world to be confused as to what is good and what is evil, by seeing us mingle the two? What pleasure do we have in unrighteousness now . . . if we are righteous?

IT IS NOT the Holy Spirit from God that leads us to do things that are displeasing to Him! There is no condemnation for us, WHEN WE ARE WALKING AFTER THE SPIRIT . . . being LED BY His Spirit.

‘[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.’  (Romans 8:1)

But walking after the flesh . . . being ‘carnally minded’ . . . brings death and destruction.  When we go our own way, instead of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us, we are displeasing to God.  The carnal mind hates God, and rebels at the very idea of being in submission to Him.

‘For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.  Because the carnal mind [is] enmity* against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  So then THEY THAT ARE IN THE FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD.‘  (Romans 8:6-8)

* Enmity:

  •  The quality of being an enemy; the opposite of friendship; ill will; hatred; unfriendly dispositions; malevolence. It expresses more than aversion and less than malice, and differs from displeasure in denoting a fixed or rooted hatred, whereas displeasure is more transient.

Some who say they are Christians like to say that we are ‘under grace, not under The Law’, we have ‘freedom in Christ’, ‘nothing is sinful, in and of itself’, but these people do not rightly understand the Word of God.  Does Romans 8:7 not speak of the law of God?

‘Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God . . . )

Does 2 Corinthians 6:17 not say that some things ARE ‘unclean’?

‘Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing] . . . ‘

The Old Testament is not something that was done away with.  It is our FOUNDATION for understanding the New Testament.  The New builds upon the Old. We are STILL called to be a holy, set-apart people who walk in righteousness.  Is it not enough for us, to realize that we are the temples of the living God and that He dwells in us? What disrespect to drag Him along to the places we used to go, to do the things we used to do, now that we know better! He pleads with us to come out, and to be separate, and to touch not the unclean thing. Have we no respect for Him at all? Who IS Lord in our lives? Either we are led by His Spirit, to do HIS will, or we are walking according to our own carnal desires.

Abstain from ALL APPEARANCE of evil. ‘ (1 Thess. 5:22)

‘And have NO FELLOWSHIP with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather REPROVE* [them].’ (Eph. 5:11)

* Reprove:

  • To blame; to censure
  • To charge with a fault to the face; to chide
  • To blame for; with of; (as, to reprove one of laziness)
  • To convince of a fault, or to make it manifest
  • To excite a sense of guilt. (The heart or conscience reproves us.)

‘Follow peace with all [men], and HOLINESS, WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD:’ (Hebrews 12:14)

‘And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:’ (Acts 17:30)

Are you ‘Rapture ready’?  If you are an American Christian–most likely not.

I think most Christians have heard about the false prophet, Harold Camping, whose latest prediction for ‘The Rapture’ and judgment day did not happen.  But, rather than laughing at those who set dates, and who have probably put their lives in order, you should take inventory of yourself.  After you hear what I have to say, I believe you will thank God that judgment day was NOT May 21st!

The American Church is not ready for a ‘Rapture’!  American Christians behave themselves like the people around them–and in America, you really don’t want to behave like the people around you, trust me.

America has become a nation of  spiritually filthy, idolatrous, greedy people.  Sometimes it’s hard to see it from ‘down here’ among them–after all, we were all made from the same ‘dust’.

We tend to see ourselves in the context of the people around us, or the people on TV.  We probably look pretty good, compared to a lot of people–but God sees things very differently from ‘up there’.

Thankfully, God has given us the Bible, so that we can examine things ‘down here’,  according to His standards.  The standards God judges us by are holiness . . . perfection . . . blamelessness . . . and purity.

When Jesus returns, these are the people who the angels will gather to Him:

  • those who are spotless
  • those who have been purified
  • those who have been refined
  • those who are blameless
  • those who are  holy
  • those who are without stain, wrinkle, or any other blemish

As the Scriptures say:

‘Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked . . .’  Daniel 12: 10

‘So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.’ 2 Peter 3: 14

‘Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.’ Daniel 11: 35

. . .  Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.’  Ephesians 5: 25-27

‘ So far, so good” you say?  ‘I think I’m doing alright.’  Hmmm.  Let’s look a little closer.  Lets use the ‘magnifying glass’ of Scriptures that talk about sin.  But first, lets be clear:  If there is willful, deliberate sin in your life, which you have not repented of–Christ’s blood is not covering it.  The only way to apply the blood of Christ to your sin is to confess and repent!

‘If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?  For we know [serve] him who said,  “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”  and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.‘  Hebrews 10: 26-31

This passage is specifically speaking to Christians.  The God of the Old Testament, who judged His people, is the same God of the New Testament, who made a way of mercy.  But don’t think you are going to fool Him.  If you want to live outside of His covenant of mercy, then you will pay for your own sins.  He will judge everyone who lives outside His covenant of mercy.

If your pastor tries to explain this passage away–woe to him!!

When you accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, you made a covenant with God (sealed with His blood) to live a life of holiness–to be set apart from the world.  If you do not fulfill your part of the covenant towards Him, He is not under obligation to fulfill His part towards you (protection, provision, and eternal life).

In other words, if you are no longer living a life of holiness, set apart from the world, then you have broken the covenant of His mercy.  It is cancelled . . . null and void . . . powerless to save you.  You have, in effect, divorced God.  If that is the case, you need to renew your covenant with Him!  That begins with confessing your sins and repenting.

‘ . . . “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness.” ‘  2 Timothy 2: 19

‘No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.’  1 John 3:6

The whole doctrine of ‘The Rapture’ is that Jesus will return for His people–those who are in covenant with Him.  If you have broken that covenant, then you are no longer in covenant with Him–you are no longer His.  (The only thing that can separate you from God is your willful sin. )

Which brings us to another topic that pastors seem to avoid these days:  sin.  (Woe to him who is politically correct, for he denies the truth.)  Here is a [partial] list of things that the Bible specifically says will keep you from inheriting the kingdom of God.

Here are several passages in Scripture to back up what I’m saying:

‘Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:  Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. ‘ 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10

‘But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.’ Revelation 21: 8

‘Outside are the dogs [male prostitutes], those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood [those who hate truth and liars].’ Revelation 22:1 5

You may notice, in these passages, that several other things are mentioned:

  • being cowardly
  • being unbelieving
  • hating truth

These are not sins, per se–but they will cause you not to endure to the end.  And it is imperative, that we endure  . . . to the end.

‘Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you stood your ground in a great contest in the face of suffering.  Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated.  You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.  You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while,

“He who is coming will come and will not delay.

But my righteous one will live by faith.

And if he shrinks back,

I will not be pleased with him.”

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.’    Hebrews 10: 32-39

‘ . . . if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us . . . ‘  2 Timothy 2: 12

Speaking of end-time Christians, Revelation says:

‘This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints.’  Revelation 13: 10

‘This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.’  Revelation 14:12

It is not enough just to believe, not enough to endure for a while–we must endure to the end!  Here are Jesus warnings to us, concerning the last days:

‘All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’  Matthew 10: 22

‘Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’  Matthew 24: 12-13

‘All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.’  Mark 13: 13

If you are on a basketball team, and the team makes it to the championships, and you are in the last quarter of the last game . . . and you quit . . . you cannot say you won, when the team wins the championships!  You will not share in the trophy, or the victory celebration.  You will be kicking yourself because you did not endure to the end.  All you did, up to the point when you quit, counts for nothing!  You are not a winner!

Conversely, if you are injured at the beginning of the season, and you have to spend the majority of the season on the bench–you are still a winner at the end . . . because you did not quit!  Even if you’re injured, you still have to show up for practices, you still have to wear your uniform, and be present at the games.

Injured or not, if you simply stop participating and doing what is required of you, you will no longer be on the team.  So it is with Christianity.  It requires your participation, and your endurance . . . to the end.

But here is what is going to be the undoing of many people in these last days.

‘They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.’

2 Thessalonians 2: 10-12

The only remedy for this is to hate wickedness and develop a love for the truth (pray too, that God will grant you a love of the truth).

If you do not fight wickedness in your own life, if you don’t turn away from sin . . . you will not love truth . . . because truth exposes sin.  In order to have victory over sin, you must love truth.

‘This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.  Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. ‘  John 3: 19-20

‘Walking in the light

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.  If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all  sin.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.  If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.’  1 John 1: 5-10

For Christians Who Are Struggling Spiritually

When Is The Rapture?

It’s Not Going To Happen The Way You Expect

Easter?

Christians, as you have probably heard, Easter is a pagan holiday.   Here is a link to a page that thoroughly explains it.   I could go on and on about this, but lets keep it simple:

Celebrate spring if you like: bunnies, eggs, etc.  But please, lets allow Resurrection Day to stand alone, and not be entangled with pagan rituals and the material trappings of  ‘Easter’!

”  17. Islamic ritual, including the Hajj****, the stand*, the throw** and the run*** were all practiced by the pagans long before Muhammad adopted them into Islam. Muhammad took these pagan practices and declared them to be the correct way to worship a monotheistic Allah. In this way, the pagans could keep their old pagan practices and apply them to one god rather than hundreds. It made conversion to Islam very easy for the Arabs since Islam felt the same as their paganism.”

Quoted from: http://www.bible.ca/islam/islam-encyclopedia-westerners-need-to-know-list.htm

* ‘The Stand’:  “On the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah pilgrims leave Mina for the plain of ‘Ararat for the wuquf, “the standing,” the central rite of the hajj.

In a re-enactment rite based upon a story of Muhammad, all are required to stand from midday to sunset in the very hot sun meditating.

God told Christians such rites are valueless: “These are matters which have, to be sure, the appearance of wisdom in self-made religion and self-abasement and severe treatment of the body, but are of no value against fleshly indulgence.” Col 1:23″

**’The Throw’:  “Pilgrims walk to Mina where they throw 7 stones at stone pillars which represent the devil. This is based upon a mythical event in the life of Abraham.

The Koran says that Abraham was told by God to sacrifice his only begotten son Ishmael. (All world history and the Bible says Isaac). On the way to make the sacrifice, the devil tried to convince Abraham not to sacrifice Ishmael. Abraham gathered up some stones and threw them at the devil until he disappeared.

So Pilgrims throw 7 stones at the stone pillars in Mina which represent evil and the devil . . .”

***’The Run’: ” The pilgrim is required to make several brisk walks between the hills of Safa and Marwat in a re-enactment ritual based upon a mythical event in the life of Hagar and Ishmael.

Muslims believe that these two hills of Safa and Marwat are where Hagar frantically ran back and forth seven times in search of water for her dying son, Ishmael. Hagar found water to save Ishmael at the “well of Zamzam”. So Pilgrims run back and forth between two hills of Safa and Marwat seven times and then go to the Zamzam well, beside Kaba.”

**** ‘The Hajj’:  “Pilgramage to Mecca and the fifth pillar of Islam. It is required of every able-bodied Muslim and who can afford it. No non-Muslim is allowed to visit Mecca or witness the hajj. The season begins in the 10th month, the month following Ramadan, and lasts through the middle of the 12th month. Muslims associate the origin of the Hajj and the founding of the Ka’aba with Abraham, who was believed to have built the Ka’aba.
Rituals begin 5 miles from centre of Mecca. No non-Muslims allowed any further. Muslims prepare, bath and does brief salat. Each man puts on two seamless white cloths, one round waist, the other over shoulder. He states his intention (niat): “O Allah, I purpose to make the hajj; make this service easy to me, and accept it from me.”
In the Ka’aba, goes round it 7 times, first three quickly (running), the other walking. He performs a brief salat at a point where Muslims believe Abraham and Ishamel rebuilt the Ka’aba. Outside the mosque, prilgrims run [‘the run’] between two hills, Safa and Marwa, 400 yards apart, in memory of Hagar running to find water for Ishmael.
On the 7th day of the month (Dhu al-Hajj), he listens to a sermon in the Great Mosque at Mecca, next day he travels east to Mina to spend the night. Most, continue to plain of Arafat, 12 to 14 miles east of Mecca. According to tradition, this is where Adam and Eve met after falling from Paradise. Important thing is to stand (wuquf) on a nearby hill on the afternoon of the 9th day [‘the stand’]. This is the hajj. Failure to meditate at this particular place means failure to complete the hajj. After sundown, returns to Muzdalifa to perform evening salat, collect some pebbles and spend the night.

On the 10th day, Muslims celebrate ‘Id al-Kabir (Greater Feast) or ‘Id al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice). The pilgrim continues toward Mecca, stoping at Mina to throw seven small stone at certain stone pillars [‘the throw’]. This “stoning of the Devil” is in memory of Abraham whom Muslims believe chased away Satan. Nearby is a hill where Muslims believe Abraham prepared to sacrifice Ishmael, and Muslims kills an animal according to his means.
Nails cut, shaved, and returns to normal clothes. Can be addressed as al-haji (or al-haja). Before leaving Arabia, he again goes round Ka’aba, drinks from well of Zamzam (which is believed by Muslims to be opened by Gabriel for Ishmael). Most pilgrims travel 250 miles to Medina to visit the tomb of Muhammad.
Hadith: the true pilgrim : “shall return (from Mecca) as pure from sin as the day on which he was born”. Another: “The reward of a pilgrim is paradise” (Mishkat).”

The Black Stone of Islam

The Black Stone of Islam

“5. The center of focus of the Kabah that Muslims circle 7 times counterclockwise once a year during the Hajj, is a meteorite called the black stone. This meteorite is the reference point by which they count the 7 revolutions (tawaf). It is the “zero” marker.

This shows the true origin of the Hajj to be pagan. Obviously a real meteorite fell sometime before Muhammad was born and the pagan Arabs began worshipping it. A similar pagan worship of a meteorite is found in Ephesus when Apostle Paul visited it: Acts 19:34-36″

The End Time Religion Is Here

Will You Know Him When He Comes?

2.  “Although Islam is a monotheistic religion, it is really a pagan religion reformed and repackaged into monotheism. Islam is paganism in monotheistic wrapping paper. Muhammad chose one god, from among hundreds of pagan gods, to be his one monotheistic god. “Islam is Polytheism with a monotheistic veil”. “Islam is Repackaged Polytheism.””
