Here are a couple of very good posts about  ‘The Rapture’:

http://filesfromtoni.blogspot.com/2007/12/pre-tribulation-rapture.html#links (you will probably need to scroll to the top of the page)

These two posts say most of what I would say, but I would add a bit more:

“But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his [seventh/last] trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”  Revelation 10:  7

” Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed– in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.  For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

“Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

I Corinthians 15: 51-55

“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:   The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 11: 15

Also,  notice the parallel wording of the passages:

“The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying,  ‘It is done!‘ ”   Revelation 16: 17

” But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished . . . ”   Revelation 10: 7

” The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: ‘ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.’ ”  Revelation 11: 15

At the seventh trumpet, the mystery of God’s grace towards the Gentiles, through Jesus’ death, will be complete.  At the seventh trumpet,  the body of/bride of Christ will go up to meet Him, as He arrives.  At the seventh trumpet, Jesus returns.

The day of His return is also referred to as The Day of the Lord.  When He returns, He will 1. do battle with the wicked, who have gathered to fight against Him (against His people) in the Valley of Armageddon.  After defeating them, He will 2. take the throne and rule over the Earth for a thousand years.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

“Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed.”

Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

The seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and out of the temple came a loud voice from the throne, saying, “It is done!”   Revelation 16: 12-17

Right there, sandwiched in between the sixth and seventh bowls (after the sixth and just before the seventh) is Jesus telling us to be ready, that He is coming like a thief!  (Notice how out of place this verse is, in the context of the rest of the passage!)

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.  He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.  The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to [1] strike down the nations. [2] “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,  so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great.”

Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.  The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.”  Revelation 19: 11-21

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty,
the One who is and who was,
because you have taken your great power
and have begun to reign.
The nations were angry; and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your saints and those who reverence your name,
both small and great–
and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”
Revelation 11: 17-18

The Bible is pretty clear that we will be here (those of us who survive) through all but the very end of the Tribulation.  The pre-Tribulation Rapture teaching is a dangerous fallacy that will strip many Americans of their faith when persecution arrives.  It will also cause great blindness regarding The Antichrist, because those who believe in a pre-Tribulation Rapture will dismiss the Antichrist as ‘impossible that he’s the one’  because  ‘we are still here’.

Lastly: beware of people, and doctrines, that make things difficult to understand.  The Bible is pretty straightforward, if you take it literally.  It is God’s intention for every sincere seeker of truth to be able to comprehend His word.  Beware of people who make you feel like you must have a special education or degree to be able to understand it.  PRAY–and God will show you!!

Another ‘oh my gosh’ moment . . .

Please take a moment to check out the short article here, before going any further.

I guess, once again, I had made an assumption without realizing it.  I thought that foodstamps were completely administered by the federal government (USDA).  I don’t know whether I’m more surprised–or appalled–to learn that they are being processed by a ‘global investment bank’.

As a reminder–JP Morgan was an investor in Enron and a recipient of TARP funds. This is just one more example of the marriage between the ‘kings of the earth’ (governments) and the ‘merchants’ (and bankers) that constitutes what Scripture refers to as ‘The Whore of Babylon’.

I would imagine that this government contract provides a lot of protection for JP Morgan.  Now, in addition to the federal government’s opinion on whether or not JP Morgan is ‘too big to fail’, you can add the opinion of the tens of millions of Americans who receive food stamp benefits, child support and/or unemployment payments through their processing centers.

On the other hand, if there is another banking crisis, will the federal government take over JP Morgan to prevent a disaster for those receiving benefits?

The United States now has four big banks:

  1. Wells Fargo
  2. Bank of America
  3. JP Morgan Chase
  4. Citigroup

Some other thoughts:

  • How long until the Federal Government, via JP Morgan, begins accessing food stamp recipients’ credit reports (in order to reduce fraud, of course)
  • Now that free checking accounts are going the way of the dinosaurs, will JP Morgan offer free checking to benefit recipients?  (This would also be a way to monitor the financial activities of recipients.)

I’m sure there are other things to consider, but my thoughts are going a different direction now.

I am  not saying that such ideas would be without merit.  It is ‘necessity’ that is drawing us, step by step, into creating the technology-based economy and society that will eventually be able to monitor our every move and deny us membership if we will not conform.  More and more, those who resist its implementation will seem like superstitious fools.

Like every other freedom-loving being, I hate and feel resistance towards the trap I see us being herded into.  As a Christian, I know the end result of it all, and dread that day.  I am not advocating for this system, but I do want to talk about our attitude towards it.

The Antichrist’s ascent to power is part of God’s plan. The ‘Beast’ empire that the Antichrist heads, is permitted by God. (It is a strange irony that Satan’s plan is God’s plan–for a season, and a reason.)  It WILL come to pass, and there will be justification for every brick that is laid in building it.

For instance–today, every event that occurs spawns new laws to prevent it in the future.  Yes, it is reactionary (or over-reactionary in many cases), but we live in a day where men are ungodly and immoral, and refuse to take responsibility for their actions or exercise self control.  In the face of that, what other choice is there? Anarchy?  The law of the jungle?

Although you know what will ultimately happen when the Antichrist takes the throne–stop and think before you use that as your rationale for fighting every new measure that is implemented!   We must be people of faith, who see things from God’s perspective and align ourselves with Him. Why are we reacting fearfully to events that are part of God’s plan?

People without God are afraid.  They are fearful enough that they are willing to surrender their freedom for security.  How sad is the condition of those who don’t know God’s peace and protection.  Unbelievers fear more for their present safety and survival than they fear what they consider to be a myth or silly superstition:  God’s Word.

We live in a culture where people put themselves first and rarely consider the well-being of others unless there is something in it for them.  For that reason, those who don’t know God simply cannot understand why you would be concerned for their eternal welfare.  Therefore, they dismiss that as being what motivates you, and try to figure out what your REAL motive is.  When they can’t figure one out, they either assign one to you or call you crazy or superstitious.

As Christians, we can be confident in God’s protection and provision for us.  We need not fight ‘the Beast’ on our own behalf.  Nor should we fight (God’s plan) on behalf of unbelievers. It has not been effective to fight on their behalf.  It has merely caused them to distrust our motives and reject our message.

Some people are ‘hardheads’.  If they don’t respond to God’s grace and love, He will deal with them more sternly.  We should understand that there are some people who will only respond to stern discipline, and God still wishes to give them opportunity to repent.

For all these reasons I urge you to reconsider how you respond to the changes that are occurring.  But, most importantly, I urge you to reconsider because of God’s perspective on the latter days.

A global government, headed by the Antichrist (Satan, the Father of Lies) is part of God’s plan.  It is time for people to make a decision as to what ‘side’ they are on.  It is time to let sin and evil fully develop, then God will purge it from the Earth.  In the darkest hour, Christ will return.  He will come to do battle against those who oppose Him, and take possession of the nations.  At the darkest hour, His reign will begin.  Perhaps some Christians don’t fully realize this.

Yes, it is frightening to think of the persecution that will come to Christians . . . to think of the choices that we will have to make–but this has ALWAYS been the nature of Christianity!!  Only in America, by the grace of the God we have betrayed, have we had such peace and safety.  And, I would argue, nowhere is there more corruption and sin amongst those who consider themselves Christians!  How much sin and impurity must American Christians be cleansed of, before He returns!!

When we think of the end times, we tend to have tunnel vision surrounding one event we may face: someday we may have to stand up and say we won’t take a mark that says 666, then we will either be killed or left to starve to death.  I can’t think of anything, in my lifetime, that has stricken terror in the hearts of more people than the dread of that event.

So much more could be said about that–exactly what The Mark will be, how or when it will be imposed, etc.  But I want to say: that’s not the point!!! For many people ‘taking The Mark’ is not something they will even encounter!  Many, many people will die before that day arrives–from disasters, from sickness, from war, from persecution, from starvation.  If you arrive at that day, and still have not realized the grace of God in your life, that allowed you to survive that long . . . then I suppose your heart would already be extremely hardened against God. Refusing The Mark, in that day, will not save you!* Yet how many people are solely focused on recognizing and rejecting The Mark?

If you aren’t walking with God, I advise you to deal with the hardness of your heart now–while there is yet time.  Every hardship you encounter will either soften your heart . . . or harden it.  Every difficulty will either draw  you closer to God . . . or cause you to push Him further away.  Whether or not a person takes The Mark is more like a footnote to their biography . . . a comment at the end, that could more or less have been inferred from the way the story unfolded.

*although accepting The Mark condemns a person forever, refusing The Mark does not save a person.  Jesus is still THE way, THE truth, THE life, and the ONLY way to salvation.

The God Factor

The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against Us

I was sent a link, as part of a comment to a previous post. In that link, passages from the Bible and the Koran are twisted together to make a case for the opinion that Jesus foretold the coming of Muhammad.  One of the passages quoted from is John 14, another is John 16.

(When Jesus spoke of ‘The Counselor’, He was referring to the Holy Spirit of God that He promised would indwell Christians.  He was not referring to Muhammad, or to any other human being.)

In previous posts, I explained the interpretations of John 14 and John 15. To continue with the teaching, here is John 16, in its entirety, along with its interpretation:

1 “All this I have told you so that you will not go astray. 2 They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. 3 They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4 I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

5 “Now I am going to him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’ 6 Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief. 7 But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10 in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11 and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

12 “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14 He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.

16 “In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

The Disciples’ Grief Will Turn to Joy

17 Some of his disciples said to one another, “What does he mean by saying, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?” 18 They kept asking, “What does he mean by ‘a little while’? We don’t understand what he is saying.”

19 Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them, “Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me’? 20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. 22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. 23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

25 “Though I have been speaking figuratively, a time is coming when I will no longer use this kind of language but will tell you plainly about my Father. 26 In that day you will ask in my name. I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf. 27 No, the Father himself loves you because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. 28 I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

29 Then Jesus’ disciples said, “Now you are speaking clearly and without figures of speech. 30 Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.”

31 “You believe at last!”  Jesus answered. 32 “But a time is coming, and has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.

33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

In this chapter, Jesus is simultaneously teaching truths about five basic subjects.  The subjects are braided together, as a cord.  Let us tease the strands (subjects) apart by color coding them.  Passages speaking of the same thing are coded the same color.  The subjects will be explained at the end of the chapter.

Now that you have read the chapter as it was written (above), read one color-coded section at a time, and compare it with the explanation at the end of the chapter.

Color code and subjects

Jesus speaks of His impending death and resurrection, and comforts His disciples.

Jesus explains that He and the Father and the Holy Spirit are one.

Jesus explains that:

  • after He goes to The Father, He will send the Counselor (The Holy Spirit)
  • The Holy Spirit will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment
  • The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth
  • The Holy Spirit will teach us the meaning of the parables that Jesus spoke
  • The Holy Spirit will tell us of things that are to come
  • Because the disciples love and believe Jesus, The Father loves them

Jesus warns the disciples that they will face persecution in this life, but eternal joy.  He encourages them to keep their faith in Him.

Jesus teaches the disciples what will be the nature of their/our relationship with God after Jesus’ resurrection:

  • They/we will pray directly to The Father, in Jesus’ name
  • The Father will answer their/our prayers, because He loves those who love and trust in Jesus
  • After His resurrection He will teach the disciples, in plain language, about The Father

If you go back, and reread the entire chapter as it was written, it should make more sense to you now.

Was Jesus A Prophet?

Answer To Islam #1: John 14

Answer to Islam #2: John 15

Answer To Islam #4

” 31.  More Christians have been murdered at the hands of Muslims in the last 100 years, than all previous persecutions upon Christians combined back to the first century.”

Quoted from: http://www.bible.ca/islam/islam-encyclopedia-westerners-need-to-know-list.htm

Christians:

“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.””  Romans 8: 15

If you are a Christian, and you have to avoid learning the truth about things that are currently going on in our world because they scare you–I would argue that you have not been ‘made perfect’ in Christ’s love.  As God’s child, you should feel safe and secure when you draw near to Him.

It was never God’s intention for Christians to ‘bury their head in the sand’.  God reveals truth, however disturbing, to Christians, so that they can share it with the world!  How else will the world (who can’t ‘hear’ God) ever hear the truth?

You can’t depend on the media to be the world’s watchmen! Very few people, who are in spiritual darkness, are going to be willing to expose the unfruitful (destructive) works of darkness.  You can expect them to be slaves of darkness, through fear, because they have not been given the protection and power of God.  But you  have been given that Spirit of courage and power–and you  have an obligation!

Even if the media discovered, and were willing to report on, all that happens in the world–they do not share God’s unique perspective on the meaning of these events!

How can the world see their need for repentance, if Christians are too timid to warn them that what they are doing is wrong, and they are being judged by God?

And by ‘warn’, I don’t mean to try to scare–that doesn’t work anyway.   You’ll have to find a way to share your peace and faith that, even through perilous times, God will protect His children.  (If you don’t have that peace or assurance, it is time to draw close to God and find it.)

Your obligation is not to twist arms or persuade men to accept truth.  Your obligation is merely to lay it before them and let them decide. Will they listen?  Most won’t.  But still, you are obligated!

” . . . From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.”  Luke 12: 48

As Americans, we have been ‘given much’!  As Christians, we have been given everything!!

When Jesus commissioned Christians to go to all the world and make disciples, He wasn’t saying to go and compel them to become disciples.  Entry into God’s kingdom is always by free will!!   He meant that we should continue to mentor those who want to become disciples.

In fact I believe that many today, who profess to be Christians, made that decision while under duress.  I would argue that God is still patiently waiting for them to make their decision from a pure heart, that feels no compulsion from fear or from men.  (In our justice system, confessions made under duress do not have legal standing.)

It is the work of the Holy Spirit to draw men to God, and that drawing by the Spirit reveals the nature of God–much as ‘courtship’ should reveal the nature of one’s suitor.

It is no wonder that many who say they are Christians do not live as Christians, or reflect the character of God.  If they were drawn to God by men, using fear to motivate them, then their understanding of God’s nature is warped.   Therefore I believe that they do not truly know God (nor trust Him).

If you are a Christian, you should not be burying your head in the sand about things that are happening today.  How will you follow Jesus’ admonition to “let no man deceive you” if you spend your days in willful ignorance?

It is the fear of what you hear that you must battle–not the truth itself!  Jesus did not teach us to run from things that scare us, but rather to be bold and confront the forces of darkness.  Courage is not a feeling, it is a choice–a choice to act in spite of fear.

So, what is the point of my sharing all these things, for the last 15 months?  Is it to incite fear?  No!

What is the point of my telling you these things if you are not going to be here when they happen? Because you ARE going to be here for an awful lot of difficult events that will unfold in the coming months!

Knowing the truth will hopefully accomplish three things:

  1. It will cause you to repent and draw near to God
  2. It will cause you to seek God, as to what course of action you should take, on behalf of yourself and your family
  3. It will cause you to warn, and intercede for, those you love

If you refuse to listen to the warnings that God is giving to His watchmen, because the truth scares you, you will go on being numb, ignorant, and complacent–and disaster will overtake you like a flood!!  This is not God’s will for His people!

Now that America has shoved God aside, and most Christians have gone along with it, God has withdrawn His protection that covered America.

Yes, America was founded on Christian principles–but Christianity is not a ‘state religion’.  It is the right of America to ‘show God the door’ (at their own peril), but God is looking to Christians to stand firm in the practice of their faith.

Instead, Christians have gone along with the new rules, setting aside their conscience, and putting more importance upon being ‘politically correct’ and obeying men, rather than God.  We should have ‘drawn a line in the sand’ a LONG time ago!

Repentance begins with the people of God. Intercession for a nation begins with the people of God.  God’s favor rests upon the actions of His people within the nation. When God was ‘shown the door’, He looked back over His shoulder on His way out.  Christians stood still and shrugged.  Then God shook His head and shut the door behind Him.

God is not coming back to America.  Now, anyone who still wants to live under His blessing will have to (spiritually) come out of America.  You will now have to choose whether to continue living your comfortable life (without the presence of God) or whether you will pursue God, though it may cost you everything.

Fear is not something to try to escape.  It IS appropriate to fear God, and to fear His judgment.  When God judges a nation, it touches everyone.

Because God has departed, many things are converging on America.  I can see why people want to deny this: it is too hard to believe how many things are coming at once, and the impending disasters are too huge to comprehend

Our paradigm (understanding of how life ‘is’), as Americans, has been built on a 200 year history of living under the protection and blessing of God.  Most of us have no comprehension of how it is to live in any other way.  As Americans, we have been blessed with peace, safety, abundance, knowledge, justice and opportunity.

Aside from a few brief periods, we have laid our heads on our pillows at night without fear of an enemy’s attack.  Aside from a few economic downturns, most Americans have had food.  The justice system, until recent years, has worked for most of us.

We forget, that this is not the case everywhere in the world.  It is not because Americans are ‘special’ that we have had these blessings–it is because, for the most part, we were obedient to God’s laws and sought to uphold those laws!  Although it was by no means perfect, we made America a place where a holy God was content to dwell.

“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him”  Nahum 1: 7

But, our system was meant to govern a people that were moral.  We became complacent and discontent and, over time, we allowed those who were immoral to lead us in their ways.

Through the generations, our focus turned from God to our community–then from our community to ourselves.  We became a godless people who sought to satisfy our own appetites and lusts.  The ‘me generation’ then gave birth to a generation who seek to exalt themselves as gods and goddesses.

In their attempts to infuse this generation of children with a positive self esteem, they raised a generation of prideful, arrogant fools.  They not only indulge all of their appetites and lusts, but see themselves as invincible and infallible.  A deep sense of entitlement is pervasive.  In their attempts to be gods, they war with one another.  This generation will be America’s leaders tomorrow!

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the multinational corporate elite and wealthy political families have taken their ‘robber baron’ mentality and exploited people around the globe. These elite comprise the majority of our government, which operates now, not for the good of the American people, but for their own profit.

“You have increased the number of your merchants till they are more than the stars of the sky, but like locusts they strip the land and then fly away.”  Nahum 3: 16

Simultaneously, and fueled by the injustices committed by these emissaries of ‘Christian’ America, radical Islam has spread as an opponent to the American version of capitalism and Christianity.

And, last but not least,  our government has been seized by rebels, who seek to overturn the elite.  But their war is not just with the elite–they are also against middle and upper class Americans, whom they feel have been complicit in the schemes of the elite and have profited from having an unfair advantage, based on centuries of exploiting others.

In their attempt to ‘even the playing field’ they are bringing America under international authority vs. treaties, taking control of private corporations, and nullifying our Constitutional rights.  They are creating a government that will rule by fear and force.

America has many enemies.  They have been circling, like vultures, awaiting their opportunity.  That day is at  hand.

“The shields of his soldiers are red; the warriors are clad in scarlet. The metal on the chariots flashes on the day they are made ready; the horsemen rush to and fro.  The chariots storm through the streets, rushing back and forth through the squares. They look like flaming torches; they dart about like lightning.”  Nahum 2: 3-4

“The river gates are thrown open and the palace collapses.”  Nahum 2: 6

“Nineveh is like a pool, and its water is draining away. “Stop! Stop!” they cry, but no one turns back. Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold! The supply is endless, the wealth from all its treasures! She is pillaged, plundered, stripped! Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale.” Nahum 2: 8-10

What we took for granted, when we laid our heads on our pillows each night, was that God was there to watch over us while we slept.

FOR THIS REASON God is calling His watchmen to spread the word that He is no longer watching over America!

“I am against you,” declares the Lord Almighty. “I will lift your skirts over your face. I will show the nations your nakedness and the kingdoms your shame.I will pelt you with filth, I will treat you with contempt and make you a spectacle.”  Nahum 3: 5-6

But, this is only one aspect of the ‘perfect storm’ that is converging on America!

    God’s is a fourfold judgment:

    1. famine–drought, flooding, problems with food distribution, poverty
    2. sword–attacks on our troops overseas, increased violence in homes and communities, terrorist attacks, war on our own soil
    3. pestilence–pandemics (manmade and natural), food borne illness, water borne illness, STDs, plagues on agricultural crops and animals
    4. wild beasts  (one watchman believes this refers to demonic entities)

And, as Revelation spells out, there will be ‘natural’ disasters as well:  tremendous earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, fierce storms, changes in the sun . . .

How can we comprehend what we have never known?  Most of us have a paradigm of peace, safety and abundance (this is why we experience ‘culture shock’ when we go to other places that aren’t under God’s protection).  And how can we conceive of all these things happening simultaneously?

Nevertheless, the wise one heeds the watchmen.  The wise man sees, and prepares.  But there is no way we can prepare for all of these things! So, what is the point of knowing–especially if it just frightens us?  And doesn’t God protect His people anyhow?

Your knowing what is coming is a matter of life and death!! I can say, with near certainty, that you love people who are not children of God!!  Will their blood be upon your hands?

You need to see how much is coming, and how there is no way we can save ourselves–so that you can see how IMPERATIVE it is that we Christians repent, intercede and warn!! God is listening for His people to repent and intercede.  Perhaps then He will turn back His wrath!

Will many listen?  No.  Americans, including Christians, are so  skeptical, that it is nearly impossible to penetrate their hearts with the truth.

“First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires.” II Peter 3: 3

Most Americans are so independent and self-sufficient that they proudly assume they can handle, by themselves, whatever comes along.  Others blindly put their unfailing trust in their leaders to take care of them.  Many believe that life will always revolve around them, that nothing bad can befall them, and that this is their entitlement.

And others, most ‘Christians‘ sadly, believe they are righteous and not deserving of any judgment, and  that God will whisk them away just as things really get difficult in America.  Never mind that their Christian brethren, all over the world, have been persecuted and martyred for their faith, for two thousand years!!  Their paradigm simply does not allow for that possibility in America.  Persecution will close on them like a trap! Those that they have bent over backwards not to offend will be hunting them in the streets!

If God’s people in America don’t repent and intercede then we are consigning America to the fate that God has planned.  At the very least, they should be warned–so that perhaps someone might repent and turn to God!

America’s judgment has begun in earnest, in two places:  Michigan and California.

Michigan is the seat of Islam in  America.  God’s first command is that we have no other gods before Him.  (Exodus 20:3Allah is not God.  When we take care not to offend Allah, or his followers, we are putting another god before our God.

Islam brings desolation everywhere it goes.  Part of this is because of the demonic entities associated with Islam–the other part is because it invites God’s judgment upon us.

California has consistently been at the forefront, introducing all manner of sexual perversion to America, and legislating for its acceptance.  Through its seductive spokesperson (Hollywood) it has spread the deviancy worldwide.

We have not yet felt the full impact of God’s judgment.  But through Michigan and California, He has warned us and given us a taste of what’s to come.  Through Hurricane Katrina, He has shown us that the unimaginable CAN happen–and without warning!

Is God Judging Indonesia and Pakistan?

You can’t be a follower of Jesus and be politically correct.

Q:  Who benefits from the whole absurd notion of ‘political correctness’?

A:  Those who practice and/or promote evil.

Political correctness is merely a form of intimidation meant to silence those who would speak the truth.  A form of intimidation . . . a provoking of fear . . .

‘For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self‑discipline.’  II Timothy 1:7

If you are so easily intimidated by societal pressure to be politically correct, then I seriously question your ability to endure in the face of real persecution!

In fact, I wonder about your level of commitment to Jesus Christ.  Did you decide to be a Christian because of your dedication to Jesus Christ and the truth and love He embodies–or because of  ‘what’s in it for you’?

“Then [Jesus] called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life  will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.””    Mark 8:34-38

Is telling the truth, in the face of man’s displeasure, too great a burden for you to bear?  Is it too embarrassing to uphold the way of truth and love, when those around you are swimming in a cesspool of sin and perversion?  Is maintaining their favorable opinion of you more important to you than being faithful to God?

    For example, God’s Word says:

“ ‘If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.’”  Leviticus 20:13

    and

“They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator–who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.  In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.”  Romans 1: 25-27

    Gay Couple

    Gay Couple

(In Leviticus 20, there are many other practices which are mentioned and condemned.  However, homosexuality is the one I have chosen for an illustration, because it is one of the ‘freedoms’ that is so zealously guarded by political correctness.)

The passages above clearly spell out that homosexuality is a sin, a perversion, unnatural, detestable, shameful, indecent, and a capital offense.  It also implies that illnesses such as AIDS may be the ‘due penalty’ for such perversion.

Christian: are you ashamed that God’s Word says such things?  Have you become so influenced by political correctness that you feel more shame over God’s Word and His attitude towards sin, than you feel towards the sin itself?

If so, I hope you are jolted enough by the realization to hit your knees and repent!  It is definitely time to turn off your TV and start spending time with God.

Can you imagine what life would be like if there was no advertising of products? No billboards, no junk mail, no flyers, no spam . . . Do we ever stop and think how deeply we are affected by this constant barrage?

Here’s something I had not known, because it never occurred to me to wonder. Why do we say ‘diamonds are forever’? Why is it a tradition to buy a diamond engagement ring? Let me see if I can remember my facts . . . because De Beers ran an ad campaign in the 1930′s to create a market for diamonds.

Oh, here’s another factoid–De Beers* is connected with the wealthy elite that some refer to as ‘the puppet masters’. Yes, from what I can see, they are the ones that control the markets of precious jewels. It’s sort of like they are ‘glittering with gold, precious stones, and pearls’ . . . wait, where have I heard that before? Isn’t that how the ‘Whore of Babylon’ is described?

Here’s another thought. I heard a comment made by someone in power that we needed global governance because we have a global economy, etc. My immediate thought was–’well, if it’s going to cause us to need a global government, perhaps we should not have a global economy.’ Who is it that decided we needed a global economy in the first place? My guess would be that it was the ones who have appointed themselves to run it!

Here’s another thought: we are learning all about the conspiracies of the elite to create a NWO, and people seem to take it for granted that their agenda will come to pass. Maybe, but I have a different theory.

I believe the antichrist will rise up out of the elite, after they have done the ‘dirty work’ of creating the framework for a global government, then will turn and devour them. After that, he will impose his own form of world government.

The religion he will impose is primarily Islam (to which he may make some changes), enlarged to incorporate all the other religions  of the world–except Christianity and Judaism. This is not as big a stretch as some might imagine.  Satan/Lucifer is most clearly embodied in ‘allah’ but, in the end, all religions except Christianity and Judaism lead to him.

The blasphemy that is quietly sweeping the world is that allah is God.  Satan, the ‘Father of Lies’, claims to be God and most people just take his word for it. Make no mistake, allah is satan/lucifer–not God!!

What a red flag it should be when any Christian leader attempts to make peace with Islam, especially if he does not have the discernment to see that allah and God are polar opposites!!  Everything about allah is clearly anti-christ!!

Just as God’s commandments have formed the foundation for our legal system, The Koran and Islamic law (Sharia) will be the basis of his legal system.

    His education system–brainwashing and indoctrination.

His leadership style–classic cult leader, including self promotion and the demand for complete submission and worship from his followers.

The rights of the individual–none. He considers everyone a part of himself (which is a trait that is characteristic of narcissists.) He views the people he rules as we might view our hair or fingernails. Do we ever stop to consider that our hair might not wish to be cut? How absurd! And similarly absurd, to him, is the idea that we might have free will that should be respected.

    His form of government–dictatorial, obviously.

While the elite that rule over us are totally corrupt and steeped in the occult–we have had the lesser of two evils. God has held the devil back from ruling the world, but since mankind has been rebellious and is now, as in the days of Noah, completely evil, He is ceasing to restrain satan from fulfilling His agenda.

As bad as the plans of the NWO are, the system that the antichrist is putting in place is much, much worse.

It is also my belief that part of his destruction of the ‘Whore of Babylon’ (NWO elitists) is that he is revealing their doings to stir up a public outcry against them, so that he and the new system he implements will be seen as the world’s salvation. They will be the scapegoats, the justification for the strict control measures he puts in place, and the required surrender of our freedoms.

He is now beginning to ‘throw them under the bus’ by revealing that they are primarily Jewish, thus further provoking the world’s hatred of Jews and all who support Jews (Christians).

Think about how angry you were when you learned about the elite NWO plan to control us–I was furious for months!  How do you think the WHOLE  WORLD will feel about it, when the facts are revealed?  Especially when there is a concerted media effort to demonize those who are behind it?

Does Obama’s apology tour and bowing to dictators, etc. now begin to reveal his true agenda? He is courting those that hate America and Israel, distancing himself from us–showing these communist leaders that he is on their side, if they should decide to attack either one of us.

I’m expanding this post that I had written but not posted, with the following info. I  just found:

Somehow I ended up at the (Jewish) Anti Defamation League website, which I didn’t realize until later.  I was surprised, because I thought it was a site promoting Louis Farrakhan!  To my knowledge, I had never (before tonight) heard anything that he has said.

As I read these things I was nodding my head-‘-yes, these things are true.  These are all the things that I have been learning.  But isn’t he supposed to be a radical?’ In a word: yes!  Now, I didn’t interpret the words I read, the way that others have accused him of–but I only read a couple pages of things he has said, so I don’t know.

I agreed nearly completely with half of what was in his quotes that I read–the half that talks about the few Jews that comprise the elite, and how they are trying to foist their ‘New World Order’ upon us.

The other half of what he said, that promotes Islam, I completely disagreed with.

As it turns out, he is the leader of ‘The Nation of Islam’ in America, which is said to be ‘the catalyst for the growth and development of Islam in America’   (In other words, converting America into an Islamic nation).

I find it strange that I would agree so completely with  him about the NWO conspiracy.  If he is involved with Islam, he is deceived. What are the chances he is 100% wrong regarding God & Islam, yet nearly 100% right regarding the Jewish NWO conspiracy?

To me, this seems suspicious, and it makes me wonder  if the things we are learning about the elite/NWO conspiracy are being fed to us by satan.  It certainly would further his agenda.  It leads me to wonder if it really is 100% true . . . therefore, we need to be cautious about what we accept as truth, considering the possible source.

So(to me) it confirms what I said earlier–that the elite, Jewish, International Banker, NWO crowd will be outed by the antichrist, and further demonized for the public, which will lead to terrible persecution of Jews and, later, Christians.

Now, if the leader of Islam is talking about this, and is expressly saying that it is only a few Jews that are guilty–isn’t that a fair assessment?  Don’t they deserve whatever they get?  Only God really knows.

But why should we worry?  It will just be the guilty that reap what they sow, right?  No.  And the reason I know that is because satan hates ALL  the people of the twelve tribes of Israel, and he won’t miss the opportunity to wipe out every one of them if he can.  (There is another aspect to all of this too, that may really blow your mind . . . *)

Check out this statement he made:’

‘ Suppose Hitler was trying to destroy the international bankers controlling Europe, but he went about it by attacking a whole people. All Jews are not responsible for the evil of the few who do evil but certain Jews have used Judaism as a shield.”‘

That is where the quote ends.  I have a couple of thoughts:

    1)  It’s interesting to hear someone say that Hitler might have been motivated by the very thing that I believe will motivate (or be claimed to motivate) the antichrist to make war on Jews.  I wholeheartedly believe that the same evil spirit(s) that controlled Hitler will control the antichrist too.

We have already seen many parallels between what Obama is doing and how Hitler rose to power.  (I suspect that this is happening in many other countries too because, in just the last few years, I know of several countries that have lost their freedom to dictators in a similar manner to what is happening in America.)  Communism is sweeping the world.

    2)  Is he implying that 6 million Jews were just collateral damage in Hitler’s alleged hunt for the elite Jewish bankers?  Is he ok with that?  He says he’s not anti-Semitic, and he is very careful in his specific wording, from what I saw.  In other words, if we could take him at his word, I don’t believe he is anti-Semitic.  But can we take him at his word?

And, even if he is not anti-Semitic, does he really have any concern for the Jews who are not involved?  It seems pretty clear that Islamic doctrine is very adamant in its hatred of Jews.  Is it possible that he, the leader of Islam in America, is not anti-Semitic?  It’s quite unlikely.

There is a clause, in Islam, that if one feels that they are in danger from non-Muslims, they can smile, befriend them, and lie to them, while secretly cursing them in their heart.  So, although he says he is not anti-Semitic, I strongly suspect he is lying.

Obama says that Farrakhan lives in the same city (Chicago).  Well, to be more precise, he lives a block away from Obama’s Chicago home–and across the street from Marty Nesbitt, who Obama spent part of the day with on Memorial Day, according to  this article from 2 days ago!

So what?  Well, apparently guys came out of Farrakhan’s house complaining about where the press pool’s bus was parked.  For some absurd reason they chanted ‘Islam, Islam’ for 90 minutes, and the incident escalated, to some extent, drawing in even more Secret Service agents.

Did anyone happen to notice where the president was for that 90 minutes?  In my opinion, it was a not-so-clever smokescreen to allow Obama time to meet with his mentor Farrakhan.  With war ready to break out in the Middle East between Israel and (Shi’a Muslim) Iran,  with Obama using every means to manipulate Netanyahu into capitulating to the demands of the Palestinians, with plans to build a Mosque (permanent Islamic embassy) at Ground Zero, etc.– what could they possibly have to discuss . . . ?

Reportedly, Farrakhan has called Obama ‘The Messiah’. But, he is the leader of Islam in America–so for Christians and Jews I will translate:

    • Islam = anti Christianity
    • Islamic ‘God’ (Allah) = the name of blasphemy aka The Antichrist
    • Islamic Messiah = anti Christ

In summary, be wise!  Not everything that you see on the horizon is going to come to pass, nor is all of it the substance of the NWO conspiracy.

What you are seeing, as vague forms in the darkness are two evil, human, political/religious ideologies (that are empowered by satan), and they are vying for control of mankind–the Whore of Babylon (elitist NWO who have been in charge), and the satanic Islamic seven headed, ten horned beast that is rising up from underneath her.

Originally satan was working through the NWO elite/Whore of Babylon, but now that she has accomplished what he was using her for, he is throwing her under the bus and redeploying his forces.    (Same old tactic: tempt, get proof and pictures, throw under the bus)

Watch her destruction and rejoice!!  But woe to us now for what–and who–comes next . . .

    * One more interesting note about De Beers–we can thank them for our new pornographic airport scanners!  They invented this technology in order to prevent miners from smuggling diamonds out of their mines.

(cont’d from: We Are Living In Revelation)

Believer-there will be nowhere to run, no place to hide.

We have been living in the ‘Dispensation of Grace’.  It is coming to a close.  Meanwhile, we have moved into the Dispensation of Revelation.  It is God’s will and time to reveal, uncover, disclose, and make manifest, the works of darkness.

Persecution will come to Christians, no matter what we do because ‘everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.’  True Christians embody truth and light.  Jesus was the first light, and this was said because of Him:  ‘ . . . Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.’

The majority of mankind still prefers darkness and evil to light and truth.  Therefore, they will do all that they can to extinguish light and truth–and this means ridding the world of Christians.

In the days and months ahead, satan will grow increasingly angry with Christians.  Consider: his time is short and he is so close to seeing the fulfillment of what he has been planning for thousands of years!  For him, everything is riding on this.  He really believes he can do a better job of running things on Earth than God does.  He will do anything to have the opportunity to prove it.

That’s all well and good . . .  completely understandable–but the ‘pawns’ in this game he is trying to engage God in, are the lives and souls of billions of people! This is a gross injustice!  Anyone with a conscience, who knows the truth (this should describe all Christians), cannot just sit by while billions of people are led to destruction!  We have a moral obligation to share the truth with everyone.

We can’t stop the game, and we can’t make anyone’s decision for them.  All we can (and must) do is to lay the facts before them and let them decide.  The game must be played fairly!  Granted, most people will turn their back on truth and life.  That is their choice.  But they at least deserve the opportunity to make an informed choice!

Our ‘intrusion’ into satan’s plan will  throw him into a panic.  After all, God (in His mercy towards mankind) is allowing satan only a brief time to prove his point and the clock is ticking!

(Lest you think we are bringing trouble upon ourselves, what would you recommend Christians do differently and still remain true to the will of God?)

In case I need to remind you–when you chose to become a Christian, you enlisted in God’s army.  You chose the side of good, in the ongoing war of evil vs. good.  You have already enlisted!

If you thought you were just signing up for God’s ‘reserves’ and would never be called up, I’m sorry.  You were misinformed.  This is a voluntary army–100%!–but EVERYONE in this army must fight!

If you have woken up to find that you are on the wrong side, walk away.  No one is keeping you here.

If you know you are on the right side, but are afraid to fight, it’s understandable.  We are all human, and we all have a basic instinct for self preservation.  Jesus had to face the same inner battle, in the Garden of Gethsemane, before He submitted to His arrest and crucifixion.  You see, He was a human being, with human instincts– and He had free will too.  What temptation He must have faced, to just walk away and save Himself!  He fought his inner battle to the point of sweating blood!

When Peter, a ‘co-conspirator’ with Jesus, faced his choice, he chose to lie to save himself.  Three times he lied–to the point of even denying that he knew Jesus!!  Just a few hours earlier, he had been so sure of his loyalty that he had promised Jesus that even if everyone else deserted Him, he never would.  I’m sure he surprised himself when he realized what he had done–because he underestimated his basic human survival instinct. (This is one example of what the Bible calls ‘the flesh’.  As Christians, we are not to live by our natural instincts and primal desires, but by God’s Spirit in us, we are to overcome them.)

All that to say:  if you’re afraid, you’re in good company.  But you’ll have to move beyond that, because a choice awaits you.  You aren’t judged for how you feel, or what you are tempted with–you are judged by the decision you end up making.

Trying to ‘play it cool’ , keeping your Christianity hidden, or not living or speaking in a way that’s consistent with God’s Word, is compromise!  This battle is much bigger than you.  Your compromise will change virtually nothing, in the grand scheme of things–but it will profoundly change you!

If you are afraid for your safety, pray to God to keep you safe!  God can hide you in plain sight!  He can hold your enemies at bay!

Jesus disappeared into a crowd. Daniel spent the night in a den of hungry lions.  Paul and Silas were released from jail by an earthquake.  Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego survived being thrown into an roiling furnace!  Elijah was provided a hiding place, by God, so that he could rest awhile (not dwell there!), and ravens brought  food to him!

Angels led Lot and his family to safety, just as God rained judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah.  God gave Noah instructions and time to build an ark for his salvation.  Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and merely shook it off–this was right after he survived a shipwreck!

God led the Israelites out of Egypt and across the Red Sea on dry ground–then He brought the waters down on top of their pursuers.  He fed them, every day, in the wilderness, for forty years!  Their shoes lasted through forty years of walking!  In a dry and barren desert, He had already stored up water for them–in a rock!!  These are just some of the stories that are in the Bible.  (I wonder how many more have not been told?!)

And, when all is said and done, if you do face death as a Christian–remember that all things work together for good for those that love God!  God told King Hezekiah to get his affairs in order, because he was going to die.  He wept, and plead with God for his life, and God granted him another fifteen years.  However, in that time he became foolish and prideful.  Decisions that he made then brought serious trouble to his family later.  (He himself would have endured God’s wrath, but he repented in time.)

At the end of his life, God tested him to see what was in his heart, and I don’t believe He found the same zeal and devotion that he had fifteen years earlier.  God was giving him the opportunity to make a peaceful exit–to die with honor at the zenith of his spiritual life.   God was protecting Hezekiah and his family by allowing Hezekiah to die–but Hezekiah clung to his will, rather than submitting to God’s.

There comes a time for each of us to depart.  God determines the best time. We should trust Him.  He knows what lies ahead, and what He may be sparing us from.

Dying as a martyr is a special honor in God’s kingdom.   It is usually a choice.  I believe that, to even be faced with that ‘opportunity’ means:

    1.  that God trusts that you will remain faithful until the end.  (Remember, He has promised He will not lose you.  If you are truly one of His children, He will not allow you to be placed in a situation, at the end of your life, that would cause you to deny Him and spend eternity apart from Him.) Any of His children, whom He allows to face martyrdom, He has already strengthened enough to endure it, or He will supernaturally strengthen them through those final hours.

    or

    2.  you have ‘played Christian’ for so long that you have convinced yourself you are one–but you aren’t.  In that final hour you will either seek Him with your whole heart, or you will deny Him.  But, either way, He will reveal your heart to you.

Believer–God has a job for you to do!  About face!
